okay well then sorry if i kinda bursted out on you arzak, maybe it was unfair to take out on you the fact that some other comments here really got on my nerves, when they actually defend israel directly or indirectly, and accuse hamas...
(also appreciated that you admit a mistake, very rare thing here)
however arzak, the hamas refused the ceasefire, because the conditions were unacceptable. no one can say they "cried for israel to stop", it's actually israel who started asking for ceasefire when they saw the first missiles falling on tel aviv.
but even then, they had the nerve to ask for a ceasefire where gazans would lose yet another few kilometers all along the border (as security buffer they claim) and would have to surrender their weapons with no guarantee even that the blockade would be lifted. it's like asking for a ceasefire AND a full surrender at the same time.
and phoenix is right, actually this round of fighting was triggered by the assassination of jaabari, which took the situation to relative calm to full scale fighting
walla walla, nice try people-power, i won't even argue on the fact that an indictment doesnt make guilt, and there is still a trial to go through, but even that doesnt matter anyway.
nobody believes the STL is really anything else than a political tool, and those who do are either dumb and naive, or pretend to do so because it helps them build some ridiculous excuses for their hatred.

without these missiles falling on israel, the war, or should i say massacre, would have gone on for many more weeks. only the pressure of having the whole of israel stalled and hiding in shelters made them stop.
