Read this story in English
"The guard that was detained confessed that Shalita had requested that he obtain the explosives that can be used to heat water."... give me a break, this is like a bad comedy. They need to send a message and prosecute any security personal involved in these types of incidents to the maximum extent of the law.
Omg did he say they don't have political cover to raid the block???!!!!???!!! Wtf?! Guards need political cover?... From who?? What kind reporting is this?! Who refuses to give cover?? Plz do your jobs as journalists!
I think the article means those supporting Fatah Al-Islam or those it opposes (idk if Fatah Al-Islam's hate is narrow enough to say that) would make a ruckus, and that politically it doesn't seem like a good idea at the time.
They are suspected of having weapons, explosives, and plotting to break out... Who in Lebanese politics would get mad if they were raided?... Farah Islam butchered the army, how do they have more privileges than any other murderer in jail??
My question is who exactly are these supporters of theirs, that have enough power to send them weapons and explosives to prison, and no one says a word??
Nasrallah was talking about the camp, and the refugees, and he turned out to be right: not only they were caught in the crossfire and many were killed, but also until this day the camp is a pile of rubble. The price of the nahr-el-bared battle was very heavy on them.
Also, Nasrallah did not say that the fath el islam people should be spared, to the contrary, he insisted they should be brought to justice, but preferably in a way that would not cost so many innocent lives and make the people who lived there refugees for the second time.
And lol at your claims that syria was behind the fath el islam, especially knowing that hariri had been funding them, to the tune of 300,000$ per month. Of course, here too they later claimed it was charity. seems like milk and blankets are the core business of mustahbal...
“We don't have a political cover to raid the bloc that the Islamists reside in,” the source added.
pityful country....
Their trials have been postponed and will be postponed further for fear of radical reprisals against the judges and the state by the fanatical forces inside Lebanon. Now is not the time.
The International tribunal has been postponed and will further be postponed for fear of radical reprisals against the the state by the fanatical forces that control Lebanon. Now is not the time.
The two faces of the same coin. Shiia extremism verses Sunni extremism and Lebanon is sandwiched in-between.
oh wait, did he cross beirut through tarik el jdide or ashrafieh? need to find out so we can know who his accomplices were!
