أفادت معلومات صحافية أن "اجتماعاً أمنياً سينعقد عصر الأحد لبحث الأوضاع في طرابلس".
وفي هذا السياق، كشفت صحيفة "النهار"، الأحد ان "الوضع الأمني قد حضر في اجتماع امني يرأسه رئيس الجمهورية ميشال سليمان في الخامسة والنصف عصر اليوم بحضور رئيس الحكومة نجيب ميقاتي ووزير الداخلية شربل وقائد الجيش العماد جان قهوجي ومدير المخابرات العميد ادمون فاضل ومدير عام قوى الامن الداخلي بالوكالة العميد ابراهيم بصبوص".
يُذكر أن قاضي التحقيق العسكري الاول رياض ابو غيدا، سطر الخميس، مذكرة جلب بحق رئيس "الحزب العربي الديمقراطي" علي عيد للتحقيق معه يوم الثلاثاء المقبل بملف تفجير مسجدي التقوى والسلام في طرابلس في 23 آب الفائت.
ذكّر وزير الداخلية والبلديات في حكومة تصريف الأعمال أن تحليل دم الآخرين هي "لغة تكفيرية" يحاسب عليها القانون.
وقال شربل في بيان مساء السبت ردا على المسؤول السياسي في الحزب "العربي الديمقراطي" رفعت عيد "شعبة المعلومات ورئيسها وضباطها وكافة رتبائها وعناصرها تخضع لمؤسسة قوى الأمن الداخلي المرتبطة بوزير الداخلية والبلديات، وهي تؤدي دورها على الصعيد الوطني العام من خلال تنفيذ القوانين المعمول بها".

KSA & co failed in Syria and now they are turning their $$ to ruin Lebanon.. Oil and terror are the two main exports of Saudi. They are simply seeking retribution from Alawites in Lebanon for their failure in Syria. They even got as desperate as supporting and sponsoring the use of chemical weapons (yes the haters will disagree.. But the mere fact USA didn't strike Syria proves that their never was evidence of the Syrian government launching the chem weapons attack).. The fact that their are no investigations into Rifaat Eid's claims proves that there is a ploy of retribution against Alawites.. Saudi espionage is running rife in Lebanon.. I hope the ISF and government agencies make these investigations public and transparent to get back some creditability..

KSA put 1 Billion dollar to prop lebanon's economy when the 2006 adventures of Hezb Iran invited the israelis in . So next time you talk of KSA at least appreciate the shades of grey between the benevolent king and the criminal qaeds.

What conspiracies we Lebanese fabricate just so that we don't face the truth, there is Saudi conspiracy, there is no attack on the Alawites, there is simply a thug and a criminal who destroyed homes and killed innocent civilians. For those of you who are a million miles away from Tripoli who didn't have to leave through the fear of two consecutive bombs and not knowing whether the third one is next to the car your in, please keep these stupid conspiracy theories to yourself and stop linking Saudi and al Qaeda into this. The Lebanese army intelligence and the ISF both interrogated these thugs and both came to the same conclusion, that is the truth,it is not hard to believe. Let justice takes its toll and bring this criminal to justice NOW.
