it is the first step and more are still to come.
as ala-din said above: they want to work in the Gulf while cursing it day in day out.
when they will be expelled from the whole Gulf region let us see if iran will provide them with jobs.
this is a clear message to the shia community:
stop supporting iran ad its extremist terrorist militia if you want to work in the Gulf countries.

A Salafist like yourself must be giddy when they read an article like this.

Nassrallah sits in Dahiyeh like king and in fiery speeches he bitterly attacks the GCC. He openly supports terrorism in Syria, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Egypt, etc. He should expect some reaction. His arrogance is uncontrollable. He is leading the Shia community into the abyss.

“The decision was only taken by Qatar. We haven't been informed of such measures undertaken in any other Gulf state,” the caretaker minister said

Give it some time. Let Hasoon, who constantly blames everything on the gcc instead of his own ignorance and pompace feed them, school them and house them. This so called politician needs to learn that there are repercussions for a "politicians" words and action. Heck maybe he can pay them more than they used to make by employing them in the party apparatus or maybe there are some jihadists who would like to do a sightseeing trip to Syria.

You are all happy they were expelled like if it would change something in the balance of power in lebanon.
In fact they will come back to lebanon and practice their stupid pro iranian activism here while being supported financially by khamenei's millions. It will change nothing.

Thumb benzona 15:16 ,2013

Indeed, we'd happier if they were jailed for trading drugs and weapons in Qatar.

"He pointed out that Qatari authorities failed to clarify the reasons behind their move..."

"Mansour pointed out that the expelled expats are not linked to any political activity."

If there is no evidence implicating them (what can you expect from the GCC savage terrorists), than the Lebanese state must respond by deporting ALL Qataris and severing all diplomatic ties with Qatar.

Of course that will never happen because the state has no balls and is infested with Al Qaeda sympathizers.

Qatar will be bankrupted, all the Qatari labors here will go hungry, are you from this world??

I've always wondered if actions like these usually tend to weaken or make HA stronger in lebanon, with ppl getting kicked out from their work cause of them do they blame HA? (knowing lebanese mentality the answer is probably no) .. and how about HA does it want Shias to be kicked from other countries and return to lebanon so that the nbr of supporters or ppl that rely on it increases?

Gharib, I've seen Aladdin before but in the movie, Aladdin wasnt an Al Qaeda sympathizing Salafist terrorist who had a suicide bomb strapped to his chest and cursed Christians and Shias all day.

For all the people that are trying to create a sectarian chapter out of this, remember that Qatar is the country that ended up facilitating the release of the abducted men in Azaz.
I as a Lebanese despise what the politics ouf our country is trying to force down our throats via sectarianism; i for one refuse to take part in it. And yes any country expelling people based purely on their religion should be ashamed.

Thumb geha 09:48 ,2013

when you have 90% at least of the Lebanese shia community behind this sectarian terrorist Iranian militia, you are forced to think this way.
I agree it is unfortunate, but it is the reality of things, when a community backs these terrorists.

Well you support Al Assir and Al Qaeda, should you really be accusing others of supporting terrorism?

"...remember that Qatar is the country that ended up facilitating the release of the abducted men in Azaz."

No they werent. The deal was between Turkey and the men that kidnapped the Turkish pilots. Qatar did not mediate anything.

Although I hate such political pressures, one has to wonder :

Why aren't Lebanese working in Iran ?

Why are there more Lebanese including Hezbollah and Aoun supporters working in any GCC country than in Iran?

In fact most Lebanese working in Iran are training to fight for Hezbollah...

M8 people are quick to cry foul, and attack such countries. I don't see them picking Iran As a place to work and raise their families. You spend your days attacking the gulf countries and their politics but you end up picking these countries to live and work. It's not like you don't have a choice. Iran and Syria are wonderful countries to live in. They respect your democratic values and aspirations and provide a safe environment for you to raise your children :)

You should all follow your ideals and leave the GCC anyway... You cannot criticize them and still live there can you ?

Syria and Iran would certainly not tolerate such behavior!!!

So Sad to see so many people rejoicing over the expulsion of Lebanese people from Qatar for no reason other than their religious sect. This is discrimination and nothing more. I know a family that is part of those that have been deported. They have invested everything the have there. Is it fair that they will now lose everything because they are shia? Seriously you people should take a closer look at yourselves as you have lost all sense of humanity.

Thumb liefighter 10:50 ,2013

You mean you are serving Saudi Arabia with your sick mentality . Why you don't go run schools, hospitals and Banks of Iran . Shia are the mother of charity walla.

Thumb FlameCatcher 12:07 ,2013

@Southern : no one is putting a gun to your head and FORCING you to live there. (We are forced to live with Hezbollah weapons though).

Their country, their rules. This is something you should start to respect. You don't even respect Lebanese rules. At least these countries can enforce their rules.

Why aren't you or they working in Iran instead ??? Would Iran treat them better ? Provide better salaries / lifestyle / security ? I don't think so !

PS: I completely agree that it's a disgrace to work and live in the GULF. But then again, no one is forced to work there... you're not happy, leave !

@Southern : Their country, their rules. It doesn't matter if we agree with them or not.

People who chose to work there have accepted to work within the rules of these dictatorships.

RULES is something you should learn to accept ! You don't make the rules in other countries. You simply accept them. It's not your country over there ! Same thing should apply to LEBANESE RULES.

You are not allowed to make your own rules just because you have weapons and choose to piss on the law. You have the power to change the rules if you want through democracy and votes. But until you let the democratic process happen, you cannot take the law into your own hands or ignore it. You behave within respect of the law ! I know that it's hard for you to understand. But there is nothing you can do except accept it. There are so many things I hate about how Iranians treat their own people in complete disregard of human rights. But I cannot do anything about it because it's not my country.
