جنبلاط: فيروز أكبر من أن تنتقد وأيضا أكبر من أن تصنف لحساب أي فريق

أعلن رئيس الحزب "التقدمي الإشتراكي" النائب وليد جنبلاط أن السيدة فيروز "أكبر" من أن تنتقد رافضا في الوقت عينه تصنيفها في خانة أي فريق سياسي في لبنان، وذلك عقب ضجة كبيرة بين الناس حول اعتراف نجلها الفنان زياد الرحباني بمحبتها للأمين العام لـ"حزب الله" السيد حسن نصرالله.
وقال جنبلاط في بيان مكتوب عصر الجمغة "كانت السيدة فيروز وتبقى رمزاً من رموز التراث الوطني اللبناني وهي التي حفرت بصوتها في ذاكرة اللبنانيين جميعاً صوراً ومشاهد متنوعة".
وذكر جنبلاط أن "هي التي أنشدت لفلسطين والقدس واحدة من أروع اﻷغنيات في كلماتها المعبرة وألحانها الجميلة، وناجت الشام التي كانت دائما متألقة، مع كل مناطق سوريا، قبل أن يقحمها عنف النظام والتآمر الدولي في دوامة الحرب الأهلية".
عليه قال جنبلاط "فيروز أكبر من توجه لها سهام اﻻنتقاد وفي الوقت ذاته أكبر من أن تصنف لحساب هذا الفريق السياسي أو ذاك أو لصالح هذا المحور أو ذاك".
وذكر أن "الفن الراقي الذي قدمته وتقدمه أسمى من أن يغرق في الزواريب السياسية والفئوية والمصلحية" خاتما بالقول "فلنتركها في موقعها السامي كي ﻻ نقحمها في ما ليس لها فيه".
وكان قد قال زياد في حديث إلى موقع "العهد الإلكتروني" نشر الثلاثاء ان أمه تحب نصرالله "كثيرا" الأمر الذي أغضب البعض في مواقع التواصل الإجتماعي منهم كتاب ومحللين سياسيين، فيما شجب البعض الآخر هذه الهجمة قائلين أن السيدة فيروز لها أن تحب من تشاء وهذا ليس له علاقة بفنها.
واستدعى الأمر مقابلة تلفزيونية لزياد الرحباني الخميس على قناة "الميادين" رغم إطلالاته الإعلامية النادرة، قائلا أن من ينتقد "فيروز ونصرالله يدافع عن إسرائيل".

Feiruz is our icon, just like the cedar on our flag, using her opinion this way is shameful, even by her own son.

What Mr. Jumblatt said here is beyond argument, the man is right. First, it was not Feirouz who made the remarks but her son, so yes, as Jumblat said, Feirouz must be kept out of this meddle. Ziad Rahbani is free to his opinion, which we all know anyway, but all the same, he is entitled to his views, no matter how controversial they may be, leaving Feirouz out of this is the best everyone can do to a person we Lebanese owe a lot.
