W'Alllah Haram, such a young man what a pitty, but this is Allah's will and we cannot say anything else except "Allah Yerhamak ya Mohammed" and may Allah punish the perpetrators, whomever they are....Ameeeeeeeeen
This is NOT Allah's will. God is the author and source of life. Death is a result of Satanic deception and poor human choices.
To make death and mahem Gods doing is to ignore the work of Satan and the reality of human choice. Now, can God make beauty from ashes? Yes He can, and He will.
Can you please explain to me why this is Allah's will? As I cannot see how this tragic death in a bombing from hate filled people is the will os a loving God.
Such a precious young life lost, good heavens why?!! Mohamed, you are an angel, this dirty cowardly act has deprived you of so many good things. To your bereaved family I express my profound sympathies, rest in peace pure young soul.
There is a contradiction here because he was a muslim and muslim do not believe that humans become angels if they are killed unjustly. And in christianity, only those who took jesus as saviour will rest in peace, the rest will be in hell.
I am not saying this poor kid will go to hell though. I don't believe that but i am just stating the contradiction. If someone is christian and says rest in peace to a non-christian then he is contradicting his own religion.
Muslims have the same belief.
I dont mind what people believe, but be true to your religion or be an atheist.
@michel_saba, yes, I am a Christian, and I am also a Lebanese, and the father of several children. Michel, do you have children if it is OK for me to ask you? I have a lot of difficulty in looking at the pictures of this most unfortunate young man, since this morning I was saying to myself, why did they stop for photo ops, couldn't they just move on, maybe they would have survived. Yes, I know that no one can run away from one's fate, but all the same, a young man died when he had a whole promising life to look forward to. It pains me profoundly as it pains everyone. Yes, I am a Christian and I see people in my Christian ways, and Yes, I believe Muslims believe in angels, but that's not the topic, right?
-phoenix1, yes i have children but that is not the point. Of course one is saddened and feel pain but what i was referring to was the condradiction here. The beliefs of christianity is that muslims will end up in hell so when one says rest in peace about a muslim one is contradicting one's religion. Muslims have the same belief about christians yet some of them too say rest in peace about christians which is a contradiction of the religion one (whether christian or muslim) claim to believe in. This is what bothers me, the fact that people will contradict their own religious belief when it suits their desires and other times will fight or insult, argue etc others because of having a diffirent belief.
Regarding the angels, what i meant is that muslims do not believe that humans turn in to angels, not that they dont believe in angels at all.
Michel,
I just want to clarify one point you made regarding Christianity and its teachings. There are no churches in the Middle East where it is their doctrine that Muslims end up in hell. Now those who believe in "killing infidels and making them submit"...I cannot judge. I only can clarify that it is not our belief that just because you are muslim does not mean you go to hell, and that is not the church's teaching. There are some denominations in the US that do believe Muslims end up in hell, but none of the churches in the Middle East, which are the original, believe this.
@Michel_saba
Your comment is totally out of line. This is not the moment for it. Everyone here is expressing his sorrow and wishing this pure young man to rest in peace in God's hand and also all of us here sharing his family's and friend's grief. Leave it at that and no need to explain the Christian and muslim way. Stick to the Lebanese way
Southern, i already clarified that i am aware of angels being part of muslims belief. What i said is that they do not believe that humans become angels when they die.
Hi again Michel, thanks for your time to explain, OK, I am glad for the elucidation coz I was a bit confused over your position. Anyway Sir, in respect of the young Mohamad's soul, and also to all the other victims (Al Chatah included), that were brutally murdered by this heinous and cowardly attack, I will stop short of taking this debate to a religious level. May they all rest in perfect peace, and also, may God protect your children and loved ones, I also extend this prayer to all the people of Lebanon during these dark times.
I would like to say a few things.
1- what religion you are born in or is written on your documents does not qualify you or disqualify you from going to heaven.
2- Nowhere in the Bible does it say that anyone who dies becomes an angel.
3- Nowhere in the Bible does it say we live in the sky on clouds and have wings etc...
4- the Bible does not say that Muslims go to hell, but it actually says that we ALL deserve hell because of our sinfulness.
I would like to end with something someone wrote recently in response to this bomb.
This is why Jesus was born into this world.
He came to this evil world, he lived among its evil and sinfulness, he even died because of it and for its sake.
He paid the price of sin on the cross,
The infinitely precious for all the sins
of all the people
of all the world
in all of history
past, present and future.
He is the True Gift of Christmas;
He died so that you may live eternally.
A gift is not earned,
but given out of love.
And not love that is earned,
but he loves the world because he HIMSELF is the definition of love.
"This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters." 1 John 3:16
It is up to us whether we accept this gift or not.
If we accept it, we accept God's forgiveness.
But if we reject it, we are rejecting his forgiveness, and his wrath remains on us because we still carry our sins.
This applies for Muslims, Christians, Druze, Buddhists, Hindus, agnostics, atheists...
to everyone.
Now the question is
How will you respond?
Do you accept this gift? or do you reject it?
Servant of jesus, your comment pretty much summed it up - if someone doesn't accept the gift then he will face the punishment and muslims fall in to this category as do others of course but the point is - jesus is the key here and the acceptence of his sacrifice and his title. I don't know what the fuss is about. Christianity preach one thing and some christians preach the opposite to appear in good light towards non-christians.
A young man died neither your religion nor his or any other superstitious faith could restore his life , and you're upset of stupid religious contradictions???? Which planet are you from????? We all wish his soul rests in peace regardless of anyone's religion, losing a child is very very very hard and your concern is christian muslim???? That is why we are a third world country bcoz we dont see each other as humans , just religious sectarian groups
Zahle, thank you for your comment. It is not correct though as all christian churches agree that the way to heaven is by accepting jesus as lord and saviour. The middle eastern churches have all been incorporated in to mainstream roman catholicism and greek orthodoxy even though small diffirences exist but not when it comes to belief on muslims. The syriac/aramean orthodox church did not incorporate with other churches but they still believe that the way to heaven is through the son. The followers of this church are also as hateful against muslims and catholics as that quran burning cult in the US so being "true middle eastern church" didnt change their belief on muslims.
Next time your in church, ask your priest where muslims will end up according to christian belief.
Michel, can you enlighten all of us how the world changed after Jesus or Mohammad. All I see is more divisions and more killings under the name of all sects.
If i had been wrong, then christianity has some serious cleaning up to do. If your explanation of those verses is that doing good is what will save every nation even those who were non-christian in those nations then the entire pillar of christianity - accepting jesus as lord and saviour- would be void and a christian woule be able to convert to islam or any other religion with the full blessing of christianity.
dear michel_saba,
in 1 John 4:8 it says:
"Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love."
This means that anyone that does not love all other people, does not know God because God is love. If we are in God, his love flows through us toward others. But if we do not love others, yes, even our own enemies, then we do not know God.
This applies to everyone.
dear anonymetexasusa and Michel,
Matthew 25 is addressed to those who accepted Jesus as savior. Jesus was speaking to his followers, and he was saying basically that faith in God must produce loving actions toward others. You cannot say you love God whom you cannot see and yet not love your neighbor whom you can see.
Now Jesus was not saying that we need do good to attain God's favor and love, but rather that BECAUSE we have already attained his favor and love AS A FREE GIFT, loving actions flow out of us naturally. And thus, anyone who does not love others practically uncovers what faith is in his heart.
Coolmec, it is never the right moment for it but i think it should be discussed so that people stop being fake towards eachother and instead reach a real agreement and mutual underststanding instead of one based on empty words where we say "Allah yerham" when in our hearts knowing our religion says otherwise. Muslims and christians should be able to be partners without either side going against his religon. Nobody can deny that muslims and christians view eachother as kuffar, using nice words wont change this, however discussing it and agreeing to disagree means we will have an honest partnership and peace without a fake and vulnerable one that simply leaves people disapointed when they learn of eachothers true belief and start feeling hate.
Michel-saba
You missed the point. my point is this is the wrong time and the wrong place to discuss this. Respect the dead and share our grief.

has anyone noticed that m8 guys are absent from even saying a decent word after the death of tis innocent young man?
they are always the first to defend their masters.
There was a flood of condolences when a 16-year old was shot by Nusra or whatever for "blasphemy".
He paid with his life for the arrogance of Hezbollah and their "message" to M14 that Lebanon belongs to them!
I'm not hateful nor sectarian. I'm blameful. Not the same thing.
If you happen to be a one sect party guilty of so many crimes. This doesn't make me "hateful" or "sectarian".
It's not my problem if all Hezbollah members are shiite and many are criminals and terrorists. I have nothing against normal shiites.
Why are we not outraged what happened when lebanon said enough in 2005 why aren't people in the street telling these politicians this is not acceptable anymore we need a government for the people from the people to serve the people of this great country called lebanon all that died are our sons and brothers regardless of what religion they are we are lebanese i am lebanese they were lebanese

Will the lebanese be man enough to get rid of these militias ?
Will the LAF be patriot and brave enough to save its people from the syro-iranian duo ?
Outrageous crime!
We share in the heartbreak the family must be suffering. It is devastating to think about the death of this beautiful young man. May he rest in peace. Our deepest sympathy to his family.
You are an Iranian dog and a puppet. You should be tried for treason for going against your country you hapless fool.
