جنبلاط يدعو لتلقف المساعدة السعودية بإيجابية من الجميع: الدولة تبقى المرجعية الوحيدة

رأى رئيس الحزب "التقدمي الإشتراكي" النائب وليد جنبلاط أن المساعدة السعودية للجيش "مهمة" داعيا الجميع إلى تلقفها بإيجابية.
وقال جنبلاط في بيان صادر عن الحزب بعد ظهر الثلاثاء "ﻻ بد من التنويه واﻻشادة بالخطوة الهامة التي تحققت من خلال التعاون السعودي- الفرنسي لدعم وتعزيز قدرات الجيش اللبناني، وهي لفتة كريمة ومشكورة جاءت في الوقت المناسب لمواكبة المؤسسة العسكرية التي تؤدي مهامها في ظروف بالغة التعقيد".
وذكّر أن "تعزيز إمكانيات الجيش اللبناني ترتدي طابعا إستثائيا ﻻ سيما مع إستمرار التهديدات الإسرائيلية واﻻنتهاكات اليومية التي تمارسها إسرائيل ضد لبنان برا وبحراً وجوا".
كما شرح أن "المهمات الشاقة في حماية اﻻستقرار والسلم اﻷهلي باتت تستوجب تقوية الجيش والقوى الأمنية لتلافي اﻻنزﻻق نحو المزيد من التدهور".
عليه دعا الزعيم الإشتراكي "كل مكونات المجتمع السياسي اللبناني لتلقف هذه المبادرة بإيجابية ﻻ سيما أنها تصب في مصلحة مشروع الدولة التي تبقى المرجعية الوحيدة لجميع اللبنانيين مهما تبدلت الظروف أو حصلت تحوﻻت داخلية أو إقليمية كبرى".
وختم مشيرا إلى ان هذه التحولات "يفترض ان تشكل حافزاً أكبر للالتفاف حول الدولة واﻷجهزة العسكرية واﻻمنية التي تخص اللبنانيين جميعاً دون تمييز أو إستثناء".
وكان قد أعلن رئيس الجمهورية ميشال سليمان مساء الأحد عن مساعدة بقيمة ثلاثة مليارات دولار للجيش من المملكة العربية السعودية لتزويده بسلاح من الدولة الفرنسية "بسرعة".

On this one geha i hv to disagree the jabal resident stood up in front of hezbollah in 2008 while beirut has fallen in 6 hours...
But u know when needed they will be there, even arslan guys will help just like 2008.. Lets hope we don't come to that, but in difficult times jabal residents will take their stand...

It is laughable to think Saudi doesnt have their own intentions with this generous offer.
Im sure they wish for the LAF to use their newly purchased weapons against hezb.
