ضبط أسلحة وذخائر في سيارة بداخلها لبنانيان في عرسال

تمكن الجيش اللبناني، صباح الخميس من توقيف سيارة محملة بذخائر حربية وأسلحة، كانت تحاول الدخول الى بلدة عرسال البقاعية الحدودية.
وأفادت قناة الـ"OTV" بعد ظهر الخميس ان السيارة وهي من نوع "رينو لرابيد "كان فيها أحمد الفحل من القبيات وحسن محمد من أكروم" في عكار.
وأوقفها الجيش في وادي حميد في عرسال وكانت متوجهة للبلدة.
ولفتت قناة "الميادين"، الى أن السيارة كانت قادمة من يبرود السورية.
وكانت معلومات سابقة أشارت إلى أن الموقوفين سوريين.

indeed good job by the LAF. but there's something a bit puzzling, it's been many times in the last months that the army intercepts weapons coming from syria to lebanon, whereas at first the rebels were using lebanon to send weapons to syria.
the change of direction in the weapons flow might be indicating some parties here are stockpiling weapons in preparation for a violence outbreak. the army must be vigilant.

Yes good thinking, and that worries me as well. But also better thinking and what had worried me for years past and still are the tunnels that HA use to bring in heavy arms and rockets and stockpile them in houses of Shia civilians throughout Lebanon. How can one refute this logic.
So LAF good job on stopping this shipment and please be vigilant with all parties. Find those tunnels and close them for good.
