Read this story in English
Good from hariri. Wood be good to have the same feedback k from Aoun. Unfortunately Aoun is more concerned about his Christian leadership rather than a national leadership
I love it when Saad talks up to christians.
His previous attitude was : christians are to be respected, but the boss is to be sunni. They are to be paid handsomely, but they are to perform what they are ordered to do. There always was a bit of condesention.
Until the untamable crazy lion, Aoun came along...
I await the day when I will read ONE meaningful post, ONE counter argument, ONE credible or mature info from you,-_Flamethrower_- , but alas!
yes popeye.
1- Mustakbal (which is a sunni party which I respect by the way) has "christian employees" who act as MPs. like majdalani for example. Would you see a sunni accepting to be employed in the FPM?
2- Bank med for example is full of christian managers doing a good job and getting paid handsomely for their work. Saad loves employing christians- they are meaner in business.
Bank Med is an example of what Hariri father (RIP) wanted lebanon's economy to look like, when he for example tried to abolish exclusive agencies (which were mostly held by christians) : Sunni interests with a gulf flavor taken care by well renumerated christian employees walking the correct path.
I personally am not against such a view (provided it gets watered down a bit)- if the alternative is sunni Daesh...
Now I tried to explain to you, I hope you understand. Else, go graze some spinach.
lebanon_first: You have issues not related to politics. They are emotional and/or psychological in nature. Better go see a psychiatrist as nothing you presented comes close to facts.
ya popeye ya to2borneh how old are you?
What is the objective of politics but economy?
If you dont understand very well my point, go read some about the political economy of the 90s in lebanon. You dont need to dwell in your the quagmire of your ignorance.
FPM corruption and thievery in the Telecom Ministry as documented in today's An Nahar

lebanon_first, as a Christian I and whomever I know never felt what you are feeling, strange. Change your nickname instead to Aoun_first and then you will have a valid point. This is exactly what Aoun is trying but failing to achieve within the Christians. Aoun always needs an enemy. He thrives on bitterness and destruction. As Christians, we have to live with moslems who respect the state and support the state. Hariri and his Future movement proved they desire the state, support it, and have not resorted to force or weapons. If we are going to co-exist as Batrak Al Rahi said today, your mentality need to change. Thank you
ex fpm. I agree with most of your points. And I wouldnt go as extreme as GMA goes.
However, christians need to be given some respect in the state, I feel christians became junior partners ever since taef, with sunnites and chiites as senior partners.. And I truly beleive that Hariri would be a partner in giving this respect.
As for your permitting yourself to comment on my nickname, it is lebanon_first 3a ra2btak.

manoushi.
Those who will bring the country together are those standing in the middle ground , seeing shades of grey and seeing good in both in both camps. I wish there were more like me.
As for you, insulting the (perceived) other camp, drowning in the ocean of your certitudes, 90% of the country is like you, and they brought us here. You are useless...
Go suck on a doorknob.
The article does not say "the future movement that christians are no longer a majority thus, are not allowed to be represented fully ( ie christians altho holding 50 % of seats, are not allowed to vote for all the 50%). "
The article talks about the Taef accord and has nothing to do with what you seem to insinuate.
your aoun said he will instate a proportional electoral law if he were to become president?)))
