رفض وزير الخارجية في حكومة تصريف الاعمال عدنان منصور وضع اسرائيل مع سوريا في موقع الاعتداء على لبنان، داعياً في الوقت عينه الى تشكيل "حكومة تضمن استمرار عمل المؤسسات الدستورية".
وفي حديث الى اذاعة "صوت لبنان" (93.3)، الاحد، رأى منصور أن "ما يحصل على الحدود مع سوريا موقت وليس كما مع اسرائيل على مدى التاريخ".
يُذكر ان البلدات الحدودية الشمالية والبقاعية، تتعرض منذ بدء الازمة السورية في آذار 2011، لإطلاق نار وقصف ما يؤدي الى سقوط قتلى وجرحى، فضلاً عن الاضرار المادية.
من جهة أخرى، حذر من تداعيات استمرار أزمة تشكيل الحكومة على لبنان "الذي يشهد ظروفا صعبة"، ودعا الى "أخذ المسؤولية الوطنية العليا في الاعتبار بمعزل عن الاحزاب السياسية".
واذ شدد على "ضرورة قيام حكومة تضمن استمرار عمل المؤسسات الدستورية"، رأى أنه "لا يجوز تبادل الاتهامات بين الافرقاء وابقاء البلد من دون حكومة".
وأشار الى "وجود بعض العراقيل الاقليمية والدولية تحول دون التأليف"، رغم اقراره بأن "العرقلة الاساس تبقى في الداخل".
أما عن الانتخابات الرئاسية، فاستبعد منصور ان يتم التمديد لرئيس الجمهورية ميشال سليمان. ورد على سؤال عما اذا كان قائد الجيش العماد جان قهوجي قد بدأ "بتسويق نفسه للرئاسة"، فقال منصور: "قائد الجيش يمثل المؤسسة الوطنية التي يعلق عليها الجميع امالا كبيرة، وهو حريص على سيادة لبنان واستقراره".
ورأى ان قهوجي طمأن "اللبنانيين انه في حال عدم حصول الاستحقاق الرئاسي في موعده سيكون الجيش الضامن الوحيد لعدم انزلاق البلد نحو الفوضى".
