وفاة المواطنة كريستال أبو شقرا مسمومة وزوجها رهن التحقيق

أعلنت منظمة "كفى عنف واستغلال" عن مقتل إمراة تدعى كريستال أبو شقرا بمادة مسممة، كاشفة أن زوجها هو رهن التحقيق حاليا.
وقالت المنظمة في بيان الإثنين انه "لم يمر شهر على مقتل منال العاصي، حتى لحقت بها المواطنة كريستال أبو شقرا التي قُتلت مسممة بالديمول".
وأوضحت أن "والدة كريستال تقدمت بادعاء شخصي ضد الزوج ر.ح. الذي هو اليوم رهن التحقيق".
واذ ذكرت ان كريستال ابو شقرا توفيت في مستشفى الحايك واليوم يقام دفنها، اعتبرت المنظمة أن "جرائم قتل النساء برسم رئيس مجلس النواب نبيه بري".
عليه طالبت المنظمة الأأخير "بالدعوة لعقد جلسة تشريعية مُدرج على جدول أعمالها بند أول "مشروع قانون حماية النساء من العنف الأسري" لإقراره في أسرع وقت ممكن".
في الرابع من الشهر الحالي تعرض زوج المواطنة منال عاصي لها بالضرب ما ادى الى وفاتها صباح اليوم التالي لتعمل قوى الأمن على توقيفه في ما بعد.
يذكر أن القصتين سبقتهما حادثة مرعبة أخرى إذ إنه في 9 تموز الفائت قتلت المواطنة رولا يعقوب (31 سنة) بعدما تعذبت وتستّرت على والد بناتها الخمس. وتحدثت معظم التقارير الصحفية أنها ضربت بالعصا حتى الموت من قبل زوجها على مرأى من بناتها الخمس.

this would be tragic if true, but for the moment is there any reason to accuse the husband and connect this case to women abuse?
poisoning by pesticide could be an accident, a suicide, or a murder by any other person..
seems premature to accuse the husband at this stage (unless more is known that is not said in the article), especially when the wife is named, it's almost like naming him too.

The husband's name is Rony Hayek. Pieced the info from Lebanon Debate and the Daily Star. Zero tolerance to scumbags like him. The stories of abuse Christelle's parents were relating in those articles are absolutely horrific. That junkie husband of hers apparently tried to remove one of her tattoos using a hot iron. And when he brought her into the hospital after she'd ingested a cup of Demol (a pesticide), he didn't even identify himself as her husband; he just said he "found her on the street".
