Why the insults @Jaafar?why? I used to look up to you and your logical and balanced debates but no more. Your constant insults and negative attitude will not earn you the respect that you so desire. Being a father figure on the forum means leading by example, setting the tone, and showing understanding. I am so disappointed in you..... so disappointed:(

@ everyone, this governeemnt is a joke and the biggest loser is March 14th in it. look at it this way, why do you think the interior and justice ministry have been given to Hariri or the sunniites? because the country is a mess with those bombings and it will snap back at them if they dont catch the perpetrators. It was a big mistake to accept forming this governement even if for 3 months. But in my opinion and i am a non follower of neither march 8th or 14th but what i can see is :

The biggest loser is hariri in this governement, for the reasons i explained above. But i admire his courage and his patriotism because he accepted to form a governeemnt with people that are his ennemies for the sake of the country and for having presidential elections on time. But lets not forget also that constitutionnally if the president office is void, the president of the parliament takes his place. Hariri wouldnt want chiites govern Lebanon once and for all. So he put all his ego aside for the sake of his communauty and indirectly, christians..

is it really for the benefit of his community ?

This is the kind of attitude that makes nations better. Let us all as Lebanese start patching the wounds of old, let us settle our differences, let us stand by each other, let us from now on understand that no one will save us but ourselves. I pray and I hope that we shall see more picture like this, in the end either we stand united in strength and wisdom, or we shall perish as fools. Thank you Mr. Hariri, thank you general, good work, keep it up.

@ Dathrakos , i respect your opinion, i think you have a nice point of view, but in the meantime, geagea couldnt come back on his word of not participating with hezbollah before they leave syria. Althought i am also with you on the fact kataeb are winners in this governement, lets not forget that they have been given the lebanese forces's share of the governement. that is only logical. And you say Hariri had been given portfolios that moustaqbal already indirectly held. On one side yes, but the blame was half on them half on marwan charbel for the security situation and the justice ministry wasnt on hariri's side until recently.

Anyways i see this governement just as a concession that hariri made to avoid that chiites get all power decisions if no presidential elections are held on time. sometimes like we say, the ennemies of your ennemies are your friends. not that a maronite president would be his ennemy, but its way better for him than a chiite president of parliament ruling the coutry in case of void.
