Reply to .mowaten., I do not post here often but today is your lucky day. This is not "BS propaganda" and you know it. Hizbullah has long been well known to be directly involved in the supply and distribution of illicit drugs in Lebanon and abroad as one of its primary fundraising mechanisms. It is an open secret that the vast majority of heroin trade in Lebanon is fixed through Breitel in the Bekaa and Bir Hassan and Dahiyeh in Beirut all of which are Hizbullah strongholds. Almost ALL heroin/opium export from Iran to Beirut is explicitly with hizbullah's blessing and cover. Another very open secret is that the vast majority of the cocaine imported to Lebanon is also only under the cover and blessing of hizbullah. The only major drug transactions that have occured in or through Lebanon outside of Hizbullah's umbrella are the following:
to be con't in next post
following up from my last post...
1. Hashish farming/distribution/export (this is Lebanon's traditional and prolific export long before hizbullah existed, nonetheless, hizbullah is well known to farming/distribute/export hashish from areas it controls in the Bekaa also)
2. Marijuana farming/distribution for the local market (mostly a recent phenomenon operating on still a very small scale)
3. Methaphetamine/Crystal Meth production (also a local phenomenon with limited exports to Iran from Beirut that were quickly taken over by Hizbullah)
4. Captagon pills manufacture/export (another recent phenomenon that has simply moved it's underground factories from Syria to Lebanon due to the Civil war there - market mostly controlled by Syrians & Saudis)
