سليمان: لاستراتيجية دفاعية تحمي لبنان عمادها الجيش ومرجعيتها الدولة

أعلن رئيس الجمهورية ميشال سليمان ان لبنان بات يحتاج الى "استراتيجية دفاعية يكون عمادها الجيش اللبناني ومرجعيتها الدولة"، مشدداً على وجوب اجراء الانتخابات الرئاسية في موعدها.
وفي تصريح اثر مشاركة في القداس الاحتفالي لليوبيل المئوي لوفاة القديسة رفقا في دير مار يوسف في جربتا الذي ترأس البطريرك الماروني الكاردينال مار بشارة بطرس الراعي، الاحد، قال سليمان: "نحن بحاجة لوضع استراتيجية دفاعية لحماية لبنان من العواصف يكون عمادها الجيش ومرجعيتها الدولة التي هي تمثل الشعب اللبناني".
والجمعة، وجهت رئاسة الجمهورية، الدعوات لعقد جلسة للحوار في 31 الجاري في بعبدا، "لمتابعة البحث في الاستراتيجية الوطنية للدفاع".
أما عن رئيس الجمهورية المقبل، فلفت سليمان الى وجوب أن تكون تصرفاته "نابعة من الدستور ولا تساوم عليه وتحمي السيادة ولا تساوم عليها لمصلحة اي كان داخلياً او خارجياً".
وأضاف، مؤكداً "سأسعى بكل قواي كي تجري الانتخابات الرئاسية بموعدها وبطريقة طبيعية للمرة الاولى منذ 45 عاماً وعندها نعيد اطلاق الديمقراطية في لبنان كمثال في كل دول المنطقة".
يُذكر ان ولاية سليمان تنتهي في 25 أيار المقبل، وهو رافض التمديد ولايته، داعياً الى انتخاب رئيس جديد للجمهورية.
وكان الراعي وفي عظة القداس، قال: اذ تجددون الدعوة الى الحوار، نأمل التجاوب من جميع المدعوين".

No one need "bash" Suleiman. He suffers from his own incompetence. Rather than concentrate on getting the new government up and running and turning the LAF loose on the terrorists he holds meetings over the Baabda Accords when nothing will be solved until hostilities end in Lebanon and Syria.

When you go to each article, all that any person with common sense sees is "blah blah Israel, blah blah Takfiri, Blah blah Iran" and the cycle repeats. Is the debate ever constructive?
