باسيل: وزراء الخارجية العرب سيدعمون الجيش لمقاومة اسرائيل ودرء الارهاب

أعلن وزير الخارجية جبران باسيل، الاحد ان وزراء الخارجية العرب وافقوا على دعم الجيش اللبناني من أجل "مقاومة اسرائيل ومواجهة الارهاب" في لبنان.
وفي تغريدات عبر صفحته على موقع التواصل الاجتماعي "تويتر"، اعلن باسيل ان "مجلس وزراء الخارجية العرب وافق على المشروع المقدم للدعم العسكري للجيش اللبناني".
ولفت الى ان القرار نصّ على "دعم لبنان في مقاومة الاحتلال الاسرائيلي ومواجهة الإرهاب ومكافحة أفته عبر مساعدة الجيش اللبناني ومؤازرة جهود الحكومة الللبنانية لهذه الغاية".
كذلك، "المساهمة في تأمين احتياجات الجيش اللبناني ماديا وماليا، حسب المبادرات الدولية القائمة وفي إطار سياسة".
ولفت الى ان الدعم من البلدان العربية للجيش هي من خلال "تزويده بالأسلحة والعتاد والمعدات التقنية واللوجستية اللأزمة له وفقا للتشريعات الوطنية لكل دولة".
وفي كلمته في اجتماع وزراء الخارجية العربية، قال باسيل: "المصيبة واقعة وشعب لبنان محتجز من إرهاب حاقد أعمى لا يمكن أن يحرره منه سوى جيش لبنان الذي يخلصكم أنتم بالتالي من وصوله إليكم".
وأضاف ان "جيش لبنان القوي يمكن أن يكون جيش العرب أجمعين في مواجهتهم للإرهاب، وجيش لبنان القوي هو ما يؤسس للبنان قوي".
واعتبر ان التحدي أمام الوزراء كبير في "معركتنا المشتركة ضد الإرهاب، ولبنان ساحتها الأولى إن هو اختار أو لا وإن نأى بنفسه عنها أو أقحمها".
وطلب منهم أن "يبدأ مشواركم بدعم جيش لبنان القوي اليوم واشكركم على استصدار قرار عن القمة العربية يؤكد على مساهمة كل الدول في ذلك". وأضاف ان القرار "يبدأ على الورق ولكنه ينتهي تسليحا ودعما حقيقيا لجيش لبناني جامع لكل اللبنانيين وركيزة دولتهم وصمام أمان العرب جميعهم".
ومن المتوقع أن يشارك رئيس الجمهورية ميشال سليمان في اعمال القمة العربية التي تُعقد في الكويت يومي الاثنين والثلاثاء.

Thank you moslems for giving us weapons to fight off moslem salafism and moslem fundamentalist shia-ism
We christians of Lebanon are a commerce oriented people. We took up arms when pals tried to kick us out. But otherwise, we are pretty peaceful and think of growth, not wars. However there are some moslems amongst us who want to participate in foreign wars, some other who do terrorism, and some who give us weapons to fight the first two.
Which ones you want us to be grateful for?

Is it too much to securize sunni mosques and respect a bit more lebanese sunnis' dignity ?
Lebanese state did all it could to get the release of SYRIAN nuns and shia pilgrims, but when sunnis get kidnapped, nobody cares...
I think that if GCC desinvested from lebanon, gave no money to LAF,
then lebanese christians will do more for lebanese sunnis...

I (and most christians around me) are genuinely grateful for the arab states for their help. I am particularly grateful to the 1B dollars that KSA put in the lebanese banking system during the adventure of HA in 2006 to prop up the lebanese lira.
I genuinely think that the best brand of sunnism is the lebanese brand (mustakbal), because it is pragmatic and moderate.
I blame the sunni sheikhs for their polarizing speeches that incite hatred against shia.
I am upset as much as you that this criminal ali eid is still at large and think that a proper trial will get much of the anger to abate.
Today the people running the lebanese state are not christians. It is the shia. Even when the president gives merely his opinion, he gets lambasted.

A funny joke making the circuits is that Mustaqbel is supporting Aoun for President. The real knee slapper is that the megalomaniac egotist will suddenly become a statesman when the burdens of the Presidency and placed on his shoulders. HA!!! We remember when the little general became the acting PM in 1988. He was transformed from an artillery officer to an artillery officer. Nothing changed. He only gets a platform from which to project his megalomania and egotism. If Lebanon were on a slippery slope into Hezbollahstan, this guy only tilts the slope and makes the fall happen quicker.
