Apart from the $3 billion he begged Saudi Arabia for the army, this president has done nothing tangible over the term he was in office ... We need a strong new president who can get back the old presidential powers once held by that position.

@ Cedar, before you start saying bullshit about your president, and mine as well, analayse the situation. I guess you are kataeb, if i support a party in Lebanon it is the kataeb, and that it not new. But you must know he didnt beg for money they gave it to him, on 5 years not right away. Just to tell you u can go in wikipedia and check the lebanese army budget is nearly 4.5 billion a year ( salaries equipments ) those are basics my friend. 3 billion in 5years is not really much actually with good management it could last max 1 year and a half. M8 people are doing a big thing about it and march 14th think we are going to be able to buy warplanes. But everybody is wrong. ANd this donation has been given in order to keep the army with minimum capabilities and its the least saudi arabia can do with all the exportation of salafists and terrorists they have been handing us those past years.

@ cedar, you cannot blame the president as he is trying to avoid civil strife, he cannot be with one party against the other, specially that both are wrong. March 14th ideals are good but they are too weak and are influenced by the wrong countries that only talk and dont do anything. March 8th sides with Syria and Iran and the latter are negotiating with US for the nuclear means they are negotiating with Israel but Hezbollah wants to keep us blind. Hezbollah's ultimate goal is the protection of the lebanese chiite that have been forgotten during all these years. The lebanese system is to blame and if we do not abolish those stupid rules of posts based on religions, we will never have a country and there will always be a sect that wants to dominate the others. 200 years ago it was the druze, then from 1900-1975's it was the christian , then from 1990-2000's the sunnite, then chiite till now. How long can we continue like that?
