دعا رئيس الجمهورية ميشال سليمان "القوى الامنية الى مواصلة اجراءاتها وعدم التهاون مع الارهابيين مهما بلغت التضحيات من اجل حفظ السلم الاهلي والامن".
وأشار سليمان، الجمعة، الى ان "كل العمليات الارهابية التي تطاول عناصر الجيش والقوى الامنية لن تمنع هذه القوى من تنفيذ قرار مجلس الوزراء بالحفاظ على الامن والاستقرار مهما بلغت التضحيات".
واذ عزى الرئيس سليمان بشهيدي الجيش وقوى الامن اللذين سقطا امس واليوم"، نوّه رئيس الجمهورية "بما تقوم به القوى العسكرية والامنية في ملاحقة هذه الظواهر الارهابية وآخرها امس مطاردة الارهابي سامي الاطرش الذي قتل بعد اطلاقه النار على عناصر الجيش التي دهمت مخبأه لاعتقاله".
ودعا سليمان "هذه القوى الى مواصلة خطواتها واجراءاتها وعدم التهاون مع الارهابيين والمجرمين مهما بلغت التضحيات من اجل حفظ السلم الاهلي والامن وقطع الطريق على من تسول له نفسه جعل الوطن ساحة رهينة لحسابات ارهابية واجرامية".
وصباح اليوم، "قُتل العنصر في الامن الداخلي بطرس البياع اثر اطلاق النار عليه بالقبة وسقوط سيارته في مجرى نهر أبو علي"، بحسب ما أفادت الوكالة الوطنية للإعلام.
وكان مسلحان ملثمان أقدما في طرابلس، صباح الخميس، على إطلاق النار على المؤهل في الجيش اللبناني فادي الجبيلي، ما أدى الى مصرعه على الفور.
يُذكر ان الاربعاء، قتل طفل في باب التبانة بطرابلس جراء اشتباكات بين جبل محسن والتبانة تجددت عقب قتل مواطن من جبل محسن بعد الظهر في المدينة في حادث أدى أيضا إلى مقتل امراة.
وهذا الحادث أتى بعد جولة اشتباكات عنيفة انتهت الأسبوع الفائت تسببت بسقوط 23 قتيلا وأكثر من 150 جريحا في حصيلة غير رسمية.
وأقرت الحكومة الخميس خطة أمنية "تشمل الجميع بدون استثناء".

"Suleiman urged the armed forces to stick to the measures that they are taking in hotspots and “not to be lenient with terrorists and criminals no matter how much sacrifices they make so that they preserve civil peace and security.”
I hope these measures also involve Hezbollah's armed terrorists who roam freely around Lebanon carrying guns, blocking roads, shooting bullets in the air that rain back down all over Beirut whenever Hassan farts!
