مسلسل العنف الأسري الذي لا يتوقف: أم يضربها زوجها ويرميها على جانب الطريق في طرابلس

ما زال مسلسل العنف ضد النساء مستمرا في لبنان والضحية هذه المرة بتول، أم لثلاثة أولاد دخلت العناية المركزة بعد أن ضربها زوجها ورماها مع ابنها على جانب الطريق صباح عيد الفصح في مدينة طرابلس .
وفي التفاصيل وبحسب قناة الـ MTV أن بتول بقيت لساعات في أحد شوراع طرابلس بعد أن تعرضت للضرب، الى أن لفت مظهر الدماء على وجهها احد المارة في المدينة فاصطحبها الى مركز للشرطة.
أمام الكاميرا قالت بتول وهي تبكي وتخبىء أثار العنف عن وجهها أن رجلا ضربها بجرة غاز، الا أن شهودا قالوا وبحسب القناة عينها أنها "أم لثلاثة أولاد وتعرضت للضرب مرات عدة على يد زوجها، لكن هذه المرة أيضا رفضت الادعاء عليه".
حادثة بتول ليست الاولى من نوعها. الا أن رغم مصادقة مجلس النواب على مشروع قانون حماية النساء من العنف الأسري بعد حملات قوية قام بها ناشطون ومنظمات، ما زالت هكذا احداث تتكرر، لتضاف قصتها الى قصص النساء اللواتي وقعن ويقعن حتى اللحظة ضحية العنف الاسري وضحية عدم تطبيق جدي للقانون الذي تم التصديق عليه من دون تعديلات على بعض المواد فيه وسط اعتراض من جمعية "كفى".
وتضاف هذه الحادثة الى أحداث اخرى سبقتها، بدأت بمنال عاصي التي تعرضت للضرب حتى الموت على يد زوجها، ومرت برولا يعقوب التي تعذبت هي الاخرى على يد والد بناتها الخمس، ولم تنته بكريستال أبو شقرا التي قتلت مسمومة، وتبعتهن جميعا رقية منذر الام التي قتلت وهي حامل بطلق ناري بعد أن طالبت زوجها بالطلاق.

Shame on her husband not only he beat her but left her on the street all beaten up and bleeding. it took several hours for passers by to help her?? wow
her husband should be arrested eventhough she is not filing a complaint against him most likely by fear or she has nowhere to go

Just because Mrs. Batoul doesn't file a lawsuit against her aggressor-husband doesn't mean that the police is absolved of the responsibility of arresting and trying this criminal for battery.

Flamethrower believes women's role is to stay at home and take care of children. They should not be allowed to work and they should remain beautiful and (shut up) vote !
I'm not sure what his position is on beating women up but I'm pretty sure his position just like his political ones are dark dark dark ! You see, his kind have not evolved since the stone age... the same kind who believe Nasrallah is a divine prophet and that Hezbollah is the salvation of Lebanon !
The same people who believe the state is capable of handling our infrastructure and that digging for OIL is the solution to Lebanon's problems !

It is very important than men in Lebanon stand against violence affecting women. Protection of citizens whether male or female is the responsibility of the State and the police and they have to be more proactive about it. Protection is a civil right that should not be ruled by religion. An amendment of the law that has been just passed by the Lebanese parliament is a MUST
