الجميل: قد نصل لبحث عن مرشح بديل لـ14 آذار ولا يمكن أن نتنكر للمقاومة

رأى رئيس حزب "الكتائب اللبنانية" أمين الجميل أن فريق 14 آذار سيصل إلى مرحلة "نفكر فيها ببدائل" لمرشحها لرئاسة الجمهورية
وقال الجميل في حديث إلى قناة "المنار" بثته مساء الثلاثاء "هناك لعبة انتخابية تسير لكن سوف نصل إلى مرحلة نفكر فيها ببدائل" لمرشحي الرئاسة.
وشرح الجميل أن الخطة داخل 14 آذار هي "أننا ننجح في الدورات (بانتخاب رئيس) أو نفكر برئيس بديل والمطلوب رئيس يوصل البلد للأمان وليس معارك دونكيشوتية".
ورأى أن ترشحه طبيعي إذا قرر المكتب السياسي الكتائبي ذلك، قائلا "أكون مرشحا للرئاسة إذا كانت الأمور مؤاتية وحينئذ ترشيحي يكون في محله وانتخابي يخدم المبادئ الوطنية الشاملة" لفريق 14 آذار.
وعن الإتصالات مع فريق 14 آذار قال الجميل "التقينا واتفقنا على متابعة الإستحقاق دورة بعد دورة وبعدها نلتقي لتقييم الدورات ونقول ماذا بعد ويهمنا أن نوصل رئيس".
وردا على سؤال أجاب الجميل أن "تيار المستقبل حزب مهم على الساحة اللبنانية إنما الإستحقاق ماروني ومسيحي وهكذا أراد الميثاق الوطني ونحن لا نحبذ أبدا ان يفرض رئيس على المسيحيين ولا يجسد قاعدة مسيحية قوية".
وعن رؤيته لحزب الله وما إذا كان رأيه مطابق لرئيس حزب "القوات اللبنانية" سمير جعجع رد الجميل "نحن في لبنان شعب مقاوم بالأساس ودفعنا غاليا ككتائب وهناك أحزاب أخرى دفعت ثمن مقاومتها ومنها حزب الله ولا يمكن أن ننكر هذا الشيء ولا أن ننكر التحرير عام 2000".
وفي السياق عينه رأى أن الحل هو "أن نجلس على طاولة ونرى كيف يجوز حماية الوطن من التعديات (الإسرائيلية) التي ما زالت تطال لبنان ".
وشرح رئيس حزب "الكتائب اللبنانية" في الوقت عينه "أننا لا ننادي بهذا الشيء حاليا لأننا مرشحون بل مارسنا هذا الأمر".
يذكر ان كتلة "الكتائب اللبنانية" صوتت في الدورة الأولى لانتخاب الرئيس لجعجع الذي حصل على 48 صوتا، في حين حصل الجميل على صوت واحد رغم أنه لم يكن مرشحا واتهم أحد نواب الثامن من آذار بالتصويت له والقيام بـ"عمل مدسوس".
وحتى الآن، جعجع هو المرشح الوحيد لقوى 14 آذار قبل الدورة الثانية التي دعا إليها رئيس مجلس النواب نبيه بري هذا الأربعاء.
من جهة أخرى التقى الجميل سفير أميركا لدى لبنان ديفيد هيل "وتخلل اللقاء مراجعة لنتائج الدورة الاولى لانتخاب رئيس للجمهورية وتقييم نتائجها، وآفاق المرحلة المقبلة اعتبارا من الجلسة الثانية التي تعقد غدا الاربعاء" بحسب بيان للسفارة الأميركية.
وجدد هيل "موقف بلاده الداعي بقوة الى انبثاق السلطة ضمن المهل الدستورية وبالطرق الديمقراطية وانتخاب رئيس للجمهورية بما يضمن تلافي الفراغ وتثبيت الاستقرار في هذه المرحلة الدقيقة التي تمر بها المنطقة".
وكان تأكيد مشترك خلال اللقاء على "أهمية دعم المؤسسات الدستورية وانتظام عملها، والبناء على المناخ الايجابي الذي عكسته جلسة الانتخاب الاولى من خلال التئام نصابها الذي يجب أن تحرص كل القوى على تأمينه الى حين انتخاب الرئيس العتيد".

Statesman...where do you guys get such empty titles? The man that contributed to demolishing every single institution during the civil war becomes a statesman? Please guys, before using terms learn what they mean...none of the main candidates mentioned today are Statesmen or get close to it...geagea, aoun, frangieh, harb, gemayel, ghanem, salameh, helou (since this stooge got 16 votes) are the absolute opposites of statemen and anybody that supports one of them is unfortunately a traitor to the nation

Bribe me? I have stated many times, my dislike for Kataeb and Forces, but that they atleast admit the latest achievements by Resistance forces, should prove to the rest of you people, that it isn't just M8 recognizing them, it isn't false as many of you said. Even your own M14 leaders says it.

@mystic : you're right, M14 is all about political programs and the resistance is all about pro-actively sabotaging any effort to salvage this country and create an insecutity situation, wage wars, to protect their interests (WEAPONS and FREEDOM TO CONDUCT ILLEGAL ACTIVITIES).
M14 is weak in front of the Islamic Shiite Army in Lebanon because it holds no weapons.
And Kezballah is weak because it holds no politcal plans whatsoever. It's ignorant politicians are incapable of drafting policies with regards to economic recovery, job creation, education, tourism. All they can do is provide Lebanon with a stone-age, black market, underground, illegal economical drive !

I know for a fact that lebanese emigrants like myself have left their country because of al mustaqbal's economic politics for the past 25 years and their hegemony over all economic matters and over most of the country's institutions (78 to be precise). It is not hezbollas weapons honestly... the country has been put on pause for the last 10yrs because of hezbollahs weapons. Delusional, if this guy or Aoun think they have a better chance to be elected president than Geagea, Berri setting the quorum at two third in every session guarantees none of the three plus Frangieh have no chance pf being elected but at least, unlike the first two fools, Geagea nor Frangieh for that matter are trying to pass themselves as a consensus candidates. If Berri truly wanted a speedy, made in Lebanon presidential elections, he would have suspended the last open session with the quorum already met rather than adjourn it. Mark my words the next president will be a "consensus", made in foreign dark rooms, middle of the road president without much support withing his community. Most of our parliamentarians will vote him in and plastic smiles will be traded all around.

@Pajama boy, I agree. But the reality is Berri only represents the interests of shiites and whoever is the sunni prime minister only that of sunnis.
The system has failed to create democracy and politics based on programs, visions and economical ambition.
