جعجع: الحريري طرح من جملة الإحتمالات أن عون يرى نفسه مرشحا توافقيا فاستعرضنا الأمر

رأى رئيس حزب القوات اللبنانية سمير جعجع "أن حزب الله يدعم العماد ميشال عون في الغرف المغلقة، ولكن إذا كان عون مرشحه فعلاً، فليُعلن عون برنامجه وليذهبوا إلى المجلس النيابي للتصويت له"، لافتاً الى "ان الفريق الآخر بنى في وجهنا جداراً بعدم طرح أي إسم، باعتبار أن لا نية له للبحث في أي شيء".
وقال جعجع في مؤتمر صحفي من فرنسا وبحسب ما نقل عنه مكتبه الإعلامي مساء الإثنين "لقد استعرضت مع الرئيس (تيار المستقبل) سعد الحريري العملية المرتبطة بالإستحقاق الرئاسي من مختلف جوانبها، وطرحنا كل المخارج الممكنة للأزمة، وطرحنا كل الإحتمالات، وقد طرح الرئيس الحريري من جملة الإحتمالات أن "العماد ميشال عون طرح نفسه مرشحاً توافقياً، فلنتوقف ونرى كم هو العماد عون مرشح توافقي"، وبالفعل توقفنا واستعرضنا الأمر، وكان لي رأيي الموضوعي جداً".
واذ استغرب "كيف لعون بعد تسع سنوات من ممارسات في خط مختلف تماماً أن يتحوّل ويصبح فجأة مرشحاً توافقياً؟ فضلاً عن ذلك لم يبلغنا أحد بأن مذكرة التفاهم أُلغيت مع حزب الله"، أكّد جعجع "ان قوى 14 آذار هي صاحبة قضية بامتياز، ولا تبغي مجرد السلطة، وهي تسعى إلى الحؤول دون تدهور البلد من خلال انتخاب مرشح يؤمّن الحد الأدنى من معتقداتها ومبادئها".
وأضاف جعجع :" ليس لدي أي فيتو على أحد، وفي أي حال ، إذا فاز العماد عون، أنا أول شخص أذهب وأبارك له. أما أن يعتبر فجأةً أنه ترك خطه السياسي وانتقل إلى خط آخر ، فهذا ليس جدياً".
واذ اشار الى ان "اللعبة باتت الآن عند حزب الله وحلفائه والباقون يتمركزون حوله"، ذكّر جعجع "أن الرئيس أمين الجميل والوزير بطرس حرب قاما بمبادرات تجاه حزب الله، لكن الفريق الآخر بقي على موقفه السلبي".
وكان قد أعلن حزب "القوات اللبنانية" أن ما نسب لجعجع ونقلا عن لسان الحريري عن ترشيح عون "غير دقيق على الإطلاق".
وقالت الدائرة الإعلامية في الحزب عصر الإثنين "إن ما ورد في بعض وسائل الإعلام عن كلام منسوب لرئيس القوات اللبنانية سمير جعجع ونقلا عن لسان الرئيس سعد الحريري حول تبنّي ترشيح رئيس تكتل التغيير والإصلاح النائب ميشال عون لرئاسة الجمهورية هو مغلوط ومجتزأ وغير دقيق على الإطلاق".
وكانت قد نقلت ع قناة الـ"LBCI" عن جعجع قوله في المؤتمر انه "لا يمكن لعون ان يكون توافقيا بعد كل ممارساته السياسية القائمة على ورقة تفاهم حزب الله" مضيفا "الحريري طرح ان يكون عون مرشحا توافقيا".
وأكد جعجع في الوقت عينه أنه "ليس لدى القوات اللبنانية فيتو على احد" معتبرا ان "عون لم يغيّر خطه ليصبح توافقيا".
وكان قد التقى جعجع الحريري الأحد في لقاء هو الثاني بينهما في يومين للبحث في ملف الاستحقاق الرئاسي، ودام اللقاء أكثر من ثلاث ساعات بحسب وسائل إعلام عدة.
وأكد الطرفان في بيان مشترك أن "وجهات النظر كانت متطابقة على ضرورة إنجاز الاستحقاق الرئاسي في موعده الدستوري، ورفض الفراغ والقيام بكل الجهود والاتصالات اللازمة والممكنة لمنع حدوث الفراغ".
ولقاء الرجلين ليس يتيما في العاصمة الفرنسية التي شهدت لقاءات بين رئيس الحزب "التقدمي الإشتراكي" النائب وليد جنبلاط ووزير الخارجية السعودي سعود الفيصل، إضافة إلى لقاء مرتقب للزعيم الدرزي مع الرئيس الفرنسي وأخرى لجعجع مع مسؤولين فرنسيين.
ودعا رئيس مجلس النواب نبيه بري إلى جلسة انتخاب رئيس في 22 الجاري أي قبل ثلاثة أيام من انتهاء عهد الرئيس الحالي ميشال سليمان الذي يرفض التمديد. وبذلك إذا عقدت الجلسة تكون الخامسة بعد جلسة أولى تقدم فيها جعجع من دون أن يحصل على ثلثي الأصوات وجلسات متتالية لم تؤمن فيها قوى الثامن من آذار النصاب.

If the report is true and General Aoun is elected president, what happens next? Does anyone have any insight into his programme or what he intends to do to help the Lebanese people? As much as I disagree with HA vision I still believe an anti HA president would cause more harm than good. The way I see it, maybe we are better off with an Iranian ally at the moment so that there's no confrontation, and then just sit and wait for regional developmens. Crazy situation, half assed solutions, but sure that's always been the case...

Aoun should be the next president, and Hariri the Prime minister as the only hope for better days and stability in Lebanon. I think both have the power to do good things for the country. They will both come in the same plane to Beirut either from Saudi Arabia or from Paris.

Aoun will play a major role in releasing HA forces from Syria as he is the only one to be able to negotiate with the party and PM Hariri will erase all Takfiries in the country.

This turning in circles is proving one point, that neither Geagea nor Aoun will make it to Baabda, both are spent cartridges, both provide no solution, both are Non-consensual and both come loaded with luggage of yesteryear. No doubt that they probably did discuss the Aoun Candidacy. But Aoun has said that he will declare his candidacy only if he is a "consensus candidate". Given Aoun's commitments to Hezbollah and M14's stand with regard to Hezbollah, Aoun can only become president by election, not by consensus. He is not a consensus candidate, but then, neither is Geagea. The difference is that Geagea knows that he is not a consensus candidate and operates within the paradigm of elective politics. Aoun continues to entertain the fiction that he is a consensus candidate if only his political opponents would enter his world and drink the Kool-Aid.

To everyone giving out, rightly or wrongly, about HA, how is it that you expect the president elect, if he was from M14, to deal with them? What is it that you actually envisage? An all-out war that would most certainly destroy Lebanon? A political agreement that would have them lay their arms? That's my point, they are above the law, they are untouchable by any lebanese or foreign authority for that matter, unless it's Iran. You can not stop them doing what they're doing, whatever it is that they think they are doing. We know they can not possibly succeed in turning Lebanon into an islamic "Iran-like" state, not because we are tough mofos but because the international community won't allow it. So let them do whatever they are doing, let the scenario play, keep our families and children safe, let them have their day and proclaim their victory, until everyone who is backing them sees for themselves that this not the way to fight the other evil they are afraid of, we have two evils to beat, nothing good can EVER come from extremism, be it sunni, shiaa or christian.

If Hezbollah believes as it says in strong state institutions, Raad so spoke over the weekend, then why should their be a war between Hezbollah and the Government over Hezbollah placing its weapons under the authority of the State? Every loyal Lebanese would concede the position vis a vis the State and its institutions.
But then Hezbollah and its arms are Lebanese in name only. Actually these are Iranian loyalists who will respond only to the authority emanating from Tehran. How long can Lebanon afford to ignore this reality before dealing with it. M14 seeks to be realistic, where as Hezbollah wished to continue its existence behind a thinner and shorter veil of Lebanese legitimacy.

This is a time for reflection, not action, action will actually get us nowhere now, unless everyone is prepared for war. There's a cycle and a scenario that needs to be played, and NOBODY can do anything about it. I will reserve my opinion about what Aoun or anyone allied with HA, I fear at this moment of time for the existence of Lebanon, and maybe, just maybe, and that's only a theory, HA might be able to deal better with the influx of syrian refugees. We're caught between a rock and a hard place, nobody to turn to, powerless and desperate...

Everybody seems to support somebody no matter the objective or the program, all Lebanese parties are sectarian by nature and the Syrian conflict is sectarian by fact. If you think that there is any non sectarian solution to any Lebanese problem then I applaud you for your optimism. Furthermore, throwing the accusations of sectarianism on M14 solely is beyond logic since the M8 backbone is purely sectarian driven by the Shiaa doctrine of HA. All Lebanese share the problem of the Syrian refugees, to whom I have the utmost sympathy, but I have to disagree with you when you say that this is not a sectarian issue, because at its core this is all it is.

I'm of the opinion that electing Army generals at this moment of time is the safest bet, they will preserve whatever they can, and General Quahwaji has proved to be a true Lebanese on many occasions. I doubt he will be able to do anything of major consequences, but at least he is not confrontational and the chances are he will not sell us out, I'd like to think so anyway. I agree with you on Obeid, not that I'd rather Aoun but definitely a man whose hands are tainted with some of the most profitable deals made on the backs of the Lebanese people, but hey, this is only an opinion. Harb I have no opinion on, neutral, same as having anybody or nobody...

What matters is that we keep talking, try to find something in common so that one day, when the regional developments allow us to build a country, we won't be the tribal people we are now.
