شهدت بلدة الطفيل البقاعية الحدودية حركة نزوح كثيفة "بعد دخول عناصر من حزب الله ومن الجيش السوري الى البلدة"، وفق ما أفادت المعلومات الصحافية.
فقد كشفت صحيفة "المستقبل"، الاثنين، ان مواطنين نازحين من بلدة الطفيل "أفادوا الجهات اللبنانية المعنيّة بأنّ القصف كان قد بدأ يشتد على البلدة منذ يومين بالتزامن مع توغّل عناصر حزب الله والجيس النظامي السوري فيها".
و"أكد آخر النازحين الأحد سقوط البلدة بالكامل"، تبعاً للصحيفة.
من جهته، أكد الأمين العام للهيئة العليا للاغاثة المكلف اللواء الركن محمد خير عبر "المستقبل" ان 50 عائلة لبنانية "نزح أفرادها الأحد من الطفيل إلى بلدة عرسال حيث بقي 8 عائلات منهم في البلدة فقط".
وأشار الى العائلات النازحة الأخرى "توزعت على مناطق لبنانية متعددة للإقامة لدى أقارب أو أصحاب لهم"، مشيراً إلى نزوح 60 عائلة سورية كانت تقطن الطفيل إلى عرسال.
يُذكر ان وزير الداخلية نهاد المشنوق كان قد أعلن في نيسان الفائت انه تم وضع خطة لمساعدة اللبنانيين للخروج من بلدة الطفيل اللبنانية التي تقع داخل سوريا من خلال طريق آمن تشرف عليه القوة الشرعية اللبنانية "على الا يدخل بينهم اي معارض سوري مسلح".
وتقع بلدة الطفيل تقع في أقصى جرود سلسلة لبنان الشرقية في نقطة تداخل في الجغرافيا السورية بعمق نحو 24 كيلومتراً، وتحيط بها الأراضي السورية من ثلاث جهات، الشمال والشرق والجنوب، ولكن إلى الغرب منها تقع بلدات حام ومعربون وبريتال اللبنانية.
ومن المعلوم أن لا طريق يصل بين الاراضي اللبنانية وبينها. ويبلغ عدد سكان الطفيل أكثر من خمسة آلاف لبناني من المسلمين والمسيحيين، منهم أكثر من 25 عنصرا في الجيش اللبناني، وفق اتحاد الجمعيات الإغاثية والتنموية في لبنان.
