May god bless you Sheikh Saad, this is a courageous stand to support in the open the Syrian people against their murderous regime. We all know that the Hizb al battikh forbids it’s so cronies from seeing the truth and scares them to death from voicing their support with the Syrian people in public. Shame on M8 for deserting freedom, democracy and liberty.

say allouchi, i'd like to ask a simple question.

after living in the middle east for more years than I can remember , i'd love to know if arabs in general really know what freedom and democracy mean, so far i've seen no such thing in the arab world. and have little to no hopes for the future arab generation, you really think whats happening in syria is a "freedom movement"? I really find it hard in myself to belive thats the all colorful all nice and sincere case.
in reality one dictatorship will be replaced by another under an umbrella of democracy but underneath it is run by muslim fanatics and sheikhs and sectarian divisions, cause after all in the arab world religion IS the law!
so how can you really expect democracy anywhere here? do you really think we have a democracy in lebanon?
Egypt by the way is in a total mess, lybia will be there soon when the powers that be fight over their positions when the dust settles, and back to dictatorship 2.0 . now please spare me.

@Henrietta
You call hariri a coward...maybe... But what about Nasrallah hiding underground, Aoun escaping to France, Jumblat bending over he's Allah, etc...

Freedom of Speech in Lebanon has caused the elimination of:
President Mou3awad, Mufti Khaled, Hawi, Gemayel, Tueni, Kassir, almost-Murr, almost-Hamadeh, almost-Chidiac, Eid and Rafik Harriri.
Freedom Of Speech in Syria so far has caused the elimination of: 2600 Citizens (If we assume those killed in Syria are terrorists) then the same executors in both Countries belong to the same terrorist organization/regime.

@Ibn Beirut

I'm not a big fan of him either, nevertheless...

I think that Lebanese people like you and me should stop focusing on people, and be driven by principles, ideas, Ideals...
We will never have graet leaders in Lebanon, they all are at some point biased, disshonest, or will privilege their sect at some point, etc...and in case we find this rare person, it will get murdered within a short laps of time...

So...the choice that remains is to support the politicians that best represent your ideal of Lebanon... even if these people have flaws, remember that the other alternative is the worst!
