Aoun is correct in saying politicians should be held accountable for their actions but is should direct this at everyone including himself and Ha. That would have made him a little more credible in my eye, especially now is a time to be united behind the army and it's decisions not political point scoring.

I am not sure if you know my views. I support the army 100% and my cousin is an officer fighting now in Arsal ( we pray for him every minute ). But here is my question: Previous governments and specifically the Aoun-HA government agreed on the dissociation policy. The Army takes its orders from the political leadership and should have implemented this policy on the ground. The Army hierarchy did not do that. Instead it facilitated HA transfer of weapons and men across the border and turned a blind eye to it. Now, our army is a target for these terrorists and Aoun is telling me HA did not bring these stone aged people to Lebanon.

i dont care about "comparing", it is a very simple matter:
when you arm and finance groups in syria, you can't come later and complain that others interfered. m14 interfered first, they should keep it zipped.

beside that, HA's involvement is not a response to m14's involvement, it is a response to a direct threat which m14 pretends to ignore, and that is today unfolding in arsal.

there can be a thousand reasons for this, people could be still afraid that the situation is not stable, beheaders still roaming the countrysides, some might have lost everything and dont have much to go back to, some might have gotten comfortable with NGO aid in lebanon... etc etc...
i dont pretend any or all of these reasons are actually the ones, just giving you examples of possible reasons.

Syntax error above, part of sentence wass imbed in wrong place. It should read: "..... Damascus does not allow Lebanon to be a Sovereign State because the Syrian regime considers Lebanon as part of Syria ....."
