المعلم "يشدد على ضرورة تعاون لبنان وسوريا لمواجهة الارهاب"

رأى وزير الخارجية السوري وليد المعلم ان المطلوب هو التعاون بين لبنان وسوريا "بغية التصدي للارهاب"، الذي يتهدد بالبلدين وبالمنطقة كلها.
فقد أفادت صحيفة "السفير"، الخميس، ان المعلم توقف في بيروت خلال توجهه الى نيويورك، وأضافت انه نُقل عنه قوله انه "لا يجوز للبنان أن ينأى بنفسه عن مواجهة الارهاب".
وشدد على ان "المطلوب تعاون لبناني ـ سوري بغية التصدي لهذا الارهاب الذي لا حدود له، ويشكل خطرا على البلدين".
يُذكر ان وزير الداخلية نهاد المشنوق كان قد أعلن في وقت سابق أن الحكومة رفضت "نصائح" تلقتها للتعاون مع النظام السوري في مواجهة "داعش".
وتنظيم "داعش" الذي ينتشر في العراق ومعظم سوريا حاول الدخول الى لبنان، مع "جبهة النصرة" من خلال عرسال فخاض معركة دموية مع الجيش اللبناني مطلع شهر آب الفائت، أفضت الى وقوع قتلى وجرحى في صفوف الطرفين، فضلاً عن أسر عدد من العسكريين.
وقام داعش بقطع رأس اثنين من الجيش، في حين قامت النصرة بقتل عنصر بالرصاص، وسط مناشدات ومطالبات العسكريين لأهاليهم بالتحرك للافراج عنهم، في حين ان المعلومات الصحافية تفيد بمطالبة الخاطفين بالافراج عن سجناء في رومية لإطلاق سراح العسكريين.

I had high hopes for this anti IS coalition, but not anymore and not unless things get clearer. Informing Assad beforehand of intended targets raises many concerns. This approach will not only alienate the moderates but it will also strengthen the support for ISIL.
