التغيير والاصلاح يدعو للتلفت لخطورة المرحلة: لتطبيق الدستور حفاظاً على العيش المشترك
Read this story in English

As you claim Hakim once was, so now is your Imad. And by the way, Hakim was put in solitary confinement at Yarzi for 11 years. Your Imad was in a guilded cage in Paris (1990-2005) and, as I recall, was the beneficiary of a pardon issued by Syria in a quid pro quo that if Assad pardoned Iman Aoun, then Aoun would have to enter into an alliance with Hezbollah in order to provide political cover for Hezbollah in Lebanon in lieu of the withdrawing Syrian Army of Occupation. Whose the traitor here??
tx for removing my post..it is too good to be here
anyways ur false hakim made a deal with the syrians to attack General shu ba3melak eza howe sada2oun? all of ur zo3ama won the elections n empowered themselves using syrian power while el General fought the occupation am sure if they return he will fight back n ur leaders join them..el General has our full trust because we know that he will build a government unlike ur leaders want to build a company n u as people as employers.
(ma jarabnehon hene zeton bel ehtilel keno rej3o tel3o!!!)
badak to build a balad mafi gheir el General w bass !! :)
Mr. Kanaan, you tell your dear old man to leave his blind greed aside, go home, call it a day, and then you will see how quickly we will have a president. Then dear Mr. Kanaan, I am one who will readily pick up on the old greedy Corporal, to go for the presidential contest with Hakim, then let's see how well he will take his dry shave. As we've been seeing for some time now, there's not been one election anywhere that the FPM can win these days. Even though I loathe the possibility of seeing an ex-warlord like Hakim win the presidency, but then anything other than Aoun is a blessing. So Mr. Kanaan do give us a break will you, the FPM is a money making machine and people like you have juiced the FPM to the maximum, to the point where you're making of the old man an amateur. Eufftt wloh, kif ilak jalad, wou baddak min yi sad2ak.
So you want a Pres, Phoenix? you're maybe right that if Aoun wasn't around Lebanon would have a weak Pres by now.
Not sure why you dislike the thought of the people choosing their Pres & ensuring he is elected by the Lebanese & not by outsiders as you seem to be wishing for.
& since you're so sure the FPM loses every election,..why are you worried & unable to support the People vote?
Let the people tell you who they want as Pres & stop guessing & hoping outsiders will choose someone you like to become Pres.
What do you prefer a strong president, but traitor to Syria and Iran, or an ordinary man but patriotic and competent?
Who are you to decide who the people may or may not choose as their President?
why are you & all M14 worried to allow the people to vote for their own Pres?
typical M14ers awaiting outsiders to decide for him.
we call a traitor the guy who left his army in the field and fled away, and then associated with the same regime who killed those men.
FT, I have always respected you, defended you and gone to lengths to stand for you, so my dear good friend, nothing allows you to call me by any names. You cannot call me a hater, or judge what I wrote as a load of rubbish, you more than anyone in this forum has witness my numerous stands for peace, nationalism, true moderation and patriotism. FYI, every single person has a right to free expression, I believe that we've perforated our call drums in saying so, what matters is that we respect each other and avoid going so low in our reactions. FT, just how many times have you blatantly insulted and mocked M14 leaders, of people that do not espouse the FPM or Hezbollah's positions, just how many times? Did you not insult Michel Suleiman several times, even if that hurt people like me? Ma3lesh ya FT, but I stand by what I wrote, so far people like you can only reflect the cheapness of the FPM and Hezbollah leadership, sorry for being so upfront this time with you.
FT, ah FT my dear FT, please don't regret anything, you see, the whole truth is that the matter is not between me or you, for all intents and purposes it's obvious that we do not see several on the same wavelength. On your getting banned, sorry, though your links over 7akim may have earned you some bans, but one can't dispute the fact that most of the time you simply got carried away with your zeal for Aoun and against those who oppose him. Anyway dear FT, even if we seriously disagree as shows now, it would be qualitative of us both, or for that matter anyone else who is concerned, to keep the debate free from the personal stuff, it never served any purpose anyway. God bless.
Liars and traitors...you think one thing, you say another thing, and you act differently. The caporal obeys to Iran and Syria. You are the destructors of the Christians. May God punish you.
Yes allowing the Lebanese to choose their own Pres & not waiting for outsiders to decide for you is very treacherous indeed.
typical m14er, hates the thought of his Pres being elected by Lebanese.
humble 4 minutes
There is no hatred. Only these people are destroying the christians and they are totally corrupt. Can you answer one question : just one. Where did Simon get all this money to build his sumptuous villa in Ehmej (1200 m2) + 17 000 m2 of land. Do you know what were his revenues in 2005 in France? Less than 1300 euros per month. So, can you verify before answering????

The trouble my dear FT is this, that you are like several people here, who tend to quickly take matters personal. Thankfully, I am not like this. Have a good day.
Even if the brain washed supporters learn and SEE the truth about the Caporal...they are not able to free themselves.
Any Christian who supports a traitor, is a traitor himself.
Yes supporting the only Party who suggests allowing the people of Lebanon only vote on who becomes their Pres is most treacherous indeed
The FPM should become more like M14ers & deny the people a say on the matter & await outsiders to decide which weak leader is allowed.
now that is most patriotic inded
When you understand the Pres is for all of Lebanon & is not just to represent the Maronites is the day you will be eligible for a grown up debate..now drink your herbal tea before you pop another nerve.
The Pm & speaker are chosen to suit the strongest rep of that particular sect...The Christian _Pres was smashed to pieces & only outside choice of a weak Pres is allowed..delays & problems are the norm.
Once again Splash, why are you against the Pres being chosen by the Lebanese..why are you so supportive of outsiders choosing a weak Pres for you every time?
you still can't answer why you're so opposed to the Lebanese choosing their own Pres & why you're so trying so hard to defend outsiders choosing for you.
why do you want to leave it to the Lebanese when you disapprove of the Lebanese choosing their own Pres?
you contradict yourself so often...
so debating is only for the Lebanese but electing the Pres is for outsiders?
lol good one splashy.
slash the American immigrant, have the nerve to talk about outsiders. Went did you last go to Lebanon, Slash? You probaly lived in the U.S all your life.
@My stick; who are you to categorize people depending on what they are ya mfalas.. Well how come You have the nerve to say what you said knowing that hizbolah is the major reason why people leave Lebaron, by force of arms, intimidation and other economical
reasons produced by such amilitia. You have the nerve: ? No not even the brains nor the intelegence to share any meaningful word here.
FT, I would have sparred myself the agony of a one sided debate with you, but whereas you branded me as a False Hakim partisan, I felt I had to interject. FT yaaaa habibi, if you take time to read, you will see as have seen so many that I am not a Hakim partisan, yes, I am LF and I am damn proud of it too, but No Hakim partisan. As always I am a CENTRIST and this is our difficulty as centrists, not being tied up to anyone one side in particular. For example just how many times have I been literally shouting that we have people like Demianos Kattar as president, are we Lebanese not deserving of such decent people? Please ya FT, be reasonable ya akh, that's all I'm asking of you.
Stop this nonsense both of you! You have an infinity of posts just slashing one another. Can't you see we are the pawns and all of them are playing us? We are their joke. Time to wake up and decide what kind of future we want for us. Either we stay or we go easy....
I have facts & history on my side..you're opinion is ....well just that
funny how m14ers cannot use facts in their arguments.
If the General didn;t fight to remove the Syrians, then refute it.
otherwise, stick to making tea.
Change and Reform Calls for Preserving Coexistence, Implementing Constitution
then go down to parliament and implement the constitution by electing a president and while at it stop talking.
Why? to humiliate all Lebanese in the circus proposed & imposed by outsiders?
why are you opposed to the people voting for their own Pres?
Why are your clowns not comming to vote for that president? Afraid of what and your freinds have the intimidation tools.
I liked it when making thumb up to u FT automatically one thumb down shows up...habet el freedom of opinion alla yerham Gebran RIP
read your post & see how his playing whatever game & excuses m14 put forward.
The only option the General put forward was people voting..period!
like m14 you can;t grasp or handle it....you all know the results.
why would you & m14 approve of a strong Pres elected by the people of Lebanon? no way.....you prefer outsiders deciding for you.
that way even a Murderer is seen as worthy to represent Lebanon.
Suleiman Franjieh “The postponement of the parliamentary polls will inevitably take place. Some sides dare to say that they support the extension, while others hide behind political calculations.”
Henri Helou was nominated by Walid Jumblat, Michel Aoun was nominated by Hassan Nasrallah. It seems the only truly independent Christian leader is the one who nominated himself and his allies then followed.
This is the same old BS that this guy has been spouting since April. Kenaan is a lawyer. He should know better. All of his wonderful plans to improve the Lebanese Constitution cannot be enacted when there is a vacancy in the Lebanese Presidency because the Lebanese Constitution, AS IT IS, requires that when such a vacancy occurs, the Parliament is no longer a legislative body, but is a exclusively an electoral body. It cannot enact laws when there is no President to execute the decrees.
A constitutional amendment requires a legislative act which is not possible when there is no president. He knows this, but spouts this BS because it is the partisan political line of FPM dictated by the Iranian Patron who pays FPM to hold this line on behalf of Hezbollah.
What is he to speak, kanaan, you shouldint be allowed to speak anymore you resigned or not yet... Beside annoying, strange looking, meaningless, unworthy speaker I find you entertaining to few kids on plastic chairs appearing to be lost after being dragged to listen by appointed Ghizbola guards from the neighborhood. in the picture attached above please notice the guy in the second chair attempting to flee the torture but gusrds are ready put the poor guy back just for the TV to take the picture.
Kanaan read a statement “urging all blocs to preserve Lebanon and its coexistence and to steer clear of personal and sectarian interests.”
Which partisan bloc, more than FPM, has acted on "personal and sectarian interests" to the detriment of Lebanon? Which party has boycotted the Parliament and paralyzed the institutions of coexistence in Lebanon for the sake of the personal political ambitions of its leader?
Which party has proposed a new means of electing a President which freezes out all Lebanese except the co-confessionalists of the Maronite President? How can the Maronite President have credibility across the confessional spectrum if only Maronites serve to nominate the eventual president?? It is quite insane, where Maronites are a minority that this minority seeks this process.
I am Maronite and proud that the President comes from our community. But he is only from our community. He is to the whole nation, all sects, Christian Muslim and Druze and therefore he (she) must be credible to all sects that make up the Lebanese family. We have Beit Maroun, thank God, but the President must go from Beit Maroun to Beit Libnan and be welcome there to serve us all.
Kanaan reiterated that the parliament “lacked legitimacy” and called on the Constitutional Council judges to “preserve the constitution.”
FPM = nothing but hot air..
Al-Rahi has even slammed boycotting MPs, saying they should show their protest to the extension by announcing their resignations. 10 November 2014
The panic over the upcoming Hizbullah-Mustaqbal dialogue and Nasrallah removing the counterfeit cloak of "consensual" from Aoun's presidential candidacy.
Aoun's law allows the Muslims to choose the Christian Pres on time every time regardless.
If he really cared about true Democracy his proposal would be that all Lebanese choose their Pres in a universal suffrage in one round, period!
On the other hand if he truly wanted the Christians to have the swaying vote in electing their Christian Pres as he claims, he would have proposed a two round vote but in reverse of what he offered; in the first round all Lebanese Muslims and Christians vote in a universal suffrage, then the top two or three vote getters face off in a run off election in which only the Christians vote. Obviously all Aoun is interested in is engaging in is his usual artful deception. Some people are fooled every time.
Amazingly how the court that convicted geagea of muder was for over ten years according to aounists a syrian kangaroo court illigitimate now they're it's loudest propnents just like the qawmis and baathists were before 2005. Naturally now that most long term aounists lest the fpm what is left are the qawmis, baathists, communists and hezballahists that activists for rent. It should be noted that the court that convicted geagea also indicted aoun for embezzlement and treason but was not tried and convicted because he had deserted to France.
get a map dude you are confused this is not iraq nor iran, shias and sunnis are equal in number the christians are about 40% give or take, in fact during the 2009 election the electoral roll had the number of sunni slightly more than shiias look it up
Simple, you own has passed his due date, come up with a fresh candidate, bassil ok. But a looser.
Why are they still refusing to pledge to attend the parliament vote for the president in case a new parliament is elected and the majority does not change. Kanaan the latest to avoid the question on vdl a couple of weeks, refused to answer this simple question. Mr aoun will continue to obstruct the berri invented qorum to elect a president even if a new parliament is elected and the majority is not changed, its either president aoun or presidential vacuum.
The Change and Reform bloc held on Monday onto its proposal to allow the people to choose their "true" representatives, calling on the implementation of the constitution to preserve coexistence.
The Change and Reform bloc?
But Sleiman Franjieh, who is part of the block along with his four MPs in an interview on 16 November 2014 on al-Jadeed television, rejected Aoun's proposal of direct election of the president by the people.
"Yes supporting the only Party who suggests allowing the people of Lebanon only vote on who becomes their Pres is most treacherous indeed"
Roar stfu with your Aouneh direct election proposal aka "Christians 1st round, everyone 2nd round." It isn't a direct election because Muslims aren't allowed to determine who the candidates are.
"You bought it just like m14 did...The general has made it clear the people should vote for whoever runs....But since m14 ran to block that idea,,,,he played your silly game & you now all run saying his trying to block others from running for Pres."
Roar, huh?!?!? Speaking of "whoever runs" did Aoun ever declare himself a candidate? Isn't it Aoun who's still boycotting??? And let's review this boycott of your general's?
First: if M14 nominates Geagea, I will not nominate myself
Second: we need a consensual candidate, and I am a consensual candidate
Third: we need to amend the constitution and let the people vote
Fourth: amending the constitution is a coup against Ta'ef thus I'm incapable of proposing an amendment, but I'm a reformist and won't give up on the people
Fifth: I will not give up on my candidacy, and will not discuss any other candidate
Now: it should be only me vs. Geagea, all other candidates need to withdraw
Get off this site Roar
How about you find yourself another lifestyle nickjames? Naharnet seems to be giving you heart attacks, and anger.
You should go see a shrink.
Lol it's just the way people argue on this site that gives me heart attacks. Let me be very honest and say when I started on the forum I was more neutral, but the way these Aouniyeh argue made me become an Ouwwetji. And a lot of the reasons don't have anything to do with Hezbollah, it's just how Aoun contradicts himself left and right and his supporters don't even know what they're saying
Even though you're a Hezbo and I'm an Ouwwetji I'm sure you and I can agree that Aoun's "direct election" isn't a direct election when Muslims have no say as for who the candidates are. I'm sure we can also agree that Aoun has changes his stances on his boycott numerous times (read my post at the very bottom). And we can agree that Aoun is selfish regardless if he's allied with your party...
Well, we keep hearing from you M14 people. That General Aoun, never will be President.
Now I tell you, Geagea most certainly wont reach Baabda aswell.
This way, there will not be a President in Lebanon for some time, you want Geagea, we want Aoun.
Enjoy the extension until 2017.
Neither should be president, and Hezbollah doesn't want Aoun, they prefer vacuum. The truth is not only does Hezbollah not want Aoun, neither does Amal. Because if they really did, they would head to parliament and vote for him. And don't give me the "if they're not gonna get 65 votes it's pointless", please. If all of March 8 voted for Aoun, they'd be around 60 votes, all they'd need to do is get Jumblatt to vote for them which isn't that hard given Hezbollah forced him to quit Hariri's cabinet....
But then again, the only one who wants Aoun is Aoun and his bloc. Hezbollah benefits from the dysfunction because it gives them more authority.
@MY stick: defending oun is good thing, your golden eggs laying chicken, that obeys when someone like hizbolah pays, OTV, Planes lil Saher, money to build palaces .. as long as your iran is dafee3ah ... you will defend hizbola..
It has become all to clear. I am willing to screw myself as long as I can screw you. I call it the Aouni Syndrome.
