إبراهيم يسأل عن غياب "استراتيجة لمواجهة الإرهاب": أمر لا يحتمل التأجيل

رأى المدير العام للأمن العام اللواء عباس ابراهيم ان حماية الحدود باتت أمرا "لا يحتمل التأجيل"، داعيا إلى وضع خطة واضحة لـ"مواجهة الإرهاب".
وشدد ابراهيم في إفتتاحية العدد السابع عشر من مجلة الأمن العام على ضرورة "تسليح الجيش والقوى الأمنية لأنّ الإنفاق على الدفاع وسلامة الحدود بات أمراً لا يحتمل التأجيل".
ويخوض الجيش مواجهات شبه يومية مع المسلحين القادمين من سوريا ويسقط له ضحايا باستمرار. وبعد المعركة الشهيرة في الثاني من آب الفائت بعرسال لم تتوقف الإشتباكات لا بل شهدت الحدود مؤخرا معركة كبيرة في رأس بعلبك سقط فيها ثمانية ضحايا للمؤسسة العسكرية.
ورأى ابراهيم أن "المنطقة العربية ذاهبة في اتجاه مشاريع جديدة تثير القلق والخوف نظراً إلى طبيعتها التقسيمية"، منبهاً من أنّ "المشهد المأساوي بدأ يهدد النموذج اللبناني في الصميم ويضرب ثقافة الحياة والعيش معاً".
كما حذر من أنّه "من الخطأ الجسيم التعامل مع الواقع الإرهابي كأنّه شأن ثانوي وعابر"، معتبراً أنّ "المطلوب مواجهته وشل قدرته على استباحة الحدود".
وسأل المدير العام للأمن العام "ما الذي يؤخر أو يمنع وضع إستراتيجية رسمية لمواجهة الإرهاب ورسم خطة دفاع للتصدي له ولوجهه الآخر إسرائيل؟ فالمطلوب اذا حشد كل الطاقات والإمكانات لصد هذين الخطرين".

The Islamic Republic of Iran trusts General Security chief Abbas Ibrahim and considers him an Iranian citizen. Lebanon's security is Iran's security and vice versa.

Lets cut the BS people..if it were not for HA & its support to the LAF, Lebanon would be under the rule of IS & Nusra.
