"But Lebanon's foreign ministry (Bassil) entered a diplomatic battle to stop such a move, said the newspaper.
The ministry has held contacts with several member states to urge them not to include such a clause in the statement and to only refer to “foreign fighters” present in Syria."
Sure, Bassil does not consider the terrorist party foreign fighters in Syria because he acknowledges the terror party and its terrorists are not Lebanese but shia Syrians.
Crying over their investment in takfiri fighters arms and training that is going down the drain lol
I don't know what that acronym means but this story is a joke, except when you put it in perspective: these two monarchies deplore Hezbullah's standing up for the dispossessed Shia majority in Lebanon. In that light, these two monarchs are being consistent. What do their subjects believe? Can they be trusted with the vote?
Foreigners condemning foreigners who are occupying foreign land and fighting in foreign land...go figure.
i can assure you on the tomb of my son hadi and on the integrity of zeynib and the conscience of imamu ali that we are here to protect lebanon and not the shias.

Really people who cares what Qatar and Saudi Arabia think or do we all know the United Nations is a bunch of crock , toothless Israel the biggest human rights violators exposed the UN for what it is anyway.
It's funny how everyone these days wants a say in Syria, does remind me of our war days back then in Lebanon. Truth be told, for countries that possibly still finance terrorists and extremists like Al Jursa or better known as Al Nusra or ISIS, such countries should keep their peace till they can clear their names fully from their disgusting participation in the Syrian war. By the same token, Hezbollah should have never gone into Syria, never, it could have well darn stayed here at home and contribute to the defense of the nation. This lame argument about the reasons for why HA went to Syria does not hold water yet with me, if it stayed here, then if ISIS or any such filth was to come, we Lebanese could have been better prepared, less bled and a lot more united and cohesive if when when these evil sods decided to try their luck with us. Between all sides that went to Syria, none has any valid argument to put up for, all sides are as guilty as the other.
Of course, we can't have Hezbollah killing off their precious pets in Nusra and ISIL. Think of their human rights!
What am I missing here? since when Saudi Arabia and Quatar are adherents and/or defenders of human rights? what a joke!!

Please do not try to justify Qatar and KSA. They live in the dark ages and they certainly are in no position to take anyone or anybody to human rights council. You would think that with all the cash they got they would acquire civilized manners and modernize. instead they are financing radical islamists
What am I missing here? since when Saudi Arabia and Quatar are adherents and/or defenders of human rights? what a joke!!
bless anyone person, entity, brigade, organization or country that inflicts extreme pain, suffering, death or destruction upon the terrorist sectarian iranian militia and its supporters wherever they maybe.
@Anonym
allow me to disagree. KSA may no be exporting directly their dark age living style they certainly are doing so by exporting the wahabism they adhere to and by their indirect support to the islamists. I also happen to believe KSA has no love affair with Lebanon it is pursuing its agenda just like Iran is pursuing its own also in Lebanon. Again I am no M8 or M14 I am simply a Lebanese who loves Lebanon and remembers fondly when my country was the envy of the world. I want to see Lebanon regaining its former glory, enjoying prosperity, economic growth and social harmony. therefore I am against any armed presence in Lebanon that means no KSA no Iran o Bachar no armed elements and more importantly none of that lame mutal blame between M8 or M14. Just Be Lebanese PERIOD
Qassem Soleimani: We are witnessing the export of the Islamic Revolution throughout the region. From Bahrain and Iraq to Syria, Yemen and North Africa.
