سليمان "مرتاح" إزاء تعطيل تسوية الترقيات: هذا أبقى الجيش بألف خير

أبدى رئيس الجمهورية السابق ميشال سليمان ارتياحه إزاء تعطيل تسوية الترقيات العسكرية، معتبرا أن هذا الامر قد حمى الجيش.
وقال سليمان في حديث الى صحيفة "المستقبل" الأحد "هذا التعطيل أبقى الجيش والحمدلله بألف خير، وأننا افتدينا الجيش برفض الترقيات".
واستغرب سليمان تحميله مسؤولية تعطيل الحكومة نتيجة موقفه. وسال "هل أنا عطّلت البلد قبل اقتراح ترقية العميد شامل روكز"؟، مضيفا " "أنا عطّلت انتخاب رئيس للجمهورية؟".
وأضاف "أنا لم أوزِّر أولادي وأصهرتي.. وليس عندي مخالفات بحرية ولا صفقات في ملف النفايات والنفط والكهرباء ولا في الإعلانات".
وكان رئيس تكتل التغيير والاصلاح النائب ميشال عون أعلن عن نيته مقاطعة جلسات الحكومة في حال فشل تسوية الترقيات التي اعلن وزير الدفاع سمير مقبل أمس السبت أن موضوعها "انتهى".
وقال أن "على مَن يثير المسألة مراجعة قانون الدفاع الواضح جداً، والذي يقول إنّ الترقيات مرتبطة بوزير الدفاع وهو الذي يقترحها".
يشار الى أن الصيغة المعدّلة التي تمّ الاتفاق عليها حول الترقيات وآلية اتخاذ القرار الحكومي، واجهت مشكلة سياسية ـ تقنية تمثلت في أن ترقية العمداء الى ألوية تتم بتوصية من قائد الجيش وبمرسوم يحمل توقيع وزير الدفاع، وهو التوقيع الذي لا يزال يحجبه الوزير سمير مقبل بطلب من الرئيس ميشال سليمان الذي رفض الصيغة المطروحة.
