اجتماعات مكوكية للتوصل الى حل حول "خطة النفايات" وسلام لن يستقيل "لمصلحة البلد"

رغم وصول خطة النفايات التي عرضها وزير الزراعة أكرم شهيب الى طريق مسدود وسط كل الجهود التي لا تزال تبذل حول الملف، الامر الذي يعرقل سير عمل الحكومة وإمكانية عقد جلسة لها، الا أن مصادر مقربة من الرئيس تمام سلام استبعدت استقالته.
وكشفت صحيفة "النهار" الأربعاء أن "شهيب الذي رمى كرة فضح العراقيل في ملف النفايات الى الرئيس تمام سلام، استعاد المبادرة".
وأفادت أن شهيب كان في صدد إعلان موقف من ملف النفايات لجهة "تسمية الاشياء بأسمائها"، الا أنه أرجأ الامر بناء على تمن من رئيس مجلس النواب نبيه بري وإستجابة للنائب وليد جنبلاط على أساس أن يقدم الوزير شهيّب على الخطوة غدا الخميس".
وإستباقا لهذا الموقف وبتكليف من جنبلاط، زار شهيّب أمس الثلاثاء يرافقه وزير الصحة وائل ابو فاعور الرئيس سلام على أن يزورا اليوم للغاية نفسها الرئيس بري. وفق الصحيفة.
والاربعاء اجتمع شهيب ببري بحضور أبو فاعور. وقال من عين التينة "سأقوم والوزير أبو فاعور ببعض الاتصالات اليوم كي نصل غدا الى شاطئ الأمان في أزمة النفايات المستعصية".
وعلمت "النهار" ايضا من زوار الرئيس سلام أن الأخير ينتظر الاتصالات التي يجريها شهيّب في شأن تنفيذ خطة النفايات في مهلة تنتهي اليوم ليبنى على الشيء مقتضاه.
وأوضح هؤلاء، أن اجتماع الحوار الذي انعقد مساء امس بين "تيار المستقبل" و"حزب الله" قد يفتح نافذة إنفراج لجهة تقديم الحزب اقتراح المطمر في البقاع الشمالي، وإلا فإن الخطة البديلة ستكون العودة الى خيار تصدير النفايات.
وتواجه خطة شهيب مشكلة عدم إيجاد مطمر في كفرزبد البقاعية وسط احتجاجات على فتح مطمر سرار في عكار والناعمة لمدة سبعة أيام.
ونقل الزوار عن سلام قوله انه "لن يستسلم، وإذا كانت مصلحته الشخصية تكمن في تقديم استقالته فانها ليست في الضرورة لمصلحة البلد".
وذكَرت أن "الحكومة الحالية ليست حكومة مشاريع ومراسيم بل هي حكومة إدارة الجمهورية في ظل الفراغ الرئاسي".

Salam has threatened to step down how many times? He doesn't resign and still nothing happens. I feel sorry for him coz he is stuck as nothing but a pawn and a powerless figure head of a useless government! A corrupt and useless government that is handicapped by a shame of a constitution that is run by mafia families! Jumblatt and Berri are trying their best to divert attention to their contribution to this joke! The streets are flowing with garbage!!!! Lebanon is the joke of the whole world! The environment minister is protected coz of his sect and the streets are flooding with stinking rubbish! where else in the world would this crisis happen and the minister still be in power and relinquish his responsibility to another ministry and still claim he deserves to be in his position! WTF?

I now am finally over Lebanon. The experiment has failed. I believe a federal partition as proposed by President Bashir Gemayel is the only way forward. We cannot continue to live like animals! A Lebanese federation is better then a republic were half the people don't even know the national anthem! Most Lebanese muslims that haven't been educated in christian schools don't even know the Lebanese national anthem! they don't believe in the republic of Lebanon so why fight it anymore?

they can't even solve the most basic of problems... disposing of trash! how then can electricity, water, gas and other most basic issues begin to be addressed? can i get my money back?
