قتل ثمانية أشخاص فجر الاثنين بينهم عسكريان جراء تبادل لاطلاق النار داخل ملهى ليلي في المعاملتين اثناء تعقب جهاز المخابرات عددا من المخلين بالامن.
واورد بيان الجيش "فجر اليوم وأثناء قيام دورية تابعة لمديرية المخابرات، بالتقصي عن بعض المخلين بالأمن في أحد الملاهي الليلية في محلة المعاملتين - جونية، بادر المطلوب مهدي حسين زعيتر ومرافقيه إلى إطلاق النار باتجاه الدورية، ما أدى إلى استشهاد عسكريين إثنين".
وبعدما رد عناصر الدورية "على النار بالمثل"، وفق بيان الجيش، نتج من الاشتباك "مقتل المدعو زعيتر والمطلوب أحمد علي عمار، واربعة مواطنين كانوا برفقتهما"، بينهم فتاتان.
واوضح الجيش انه كانت صدرت بحق المطلوبين زعيتر وعمار احد عشر بلاغ بحث وتحر وست مذكرات توقيف، لارتكابهما جرائم منظمة مختلفة في أوقات سابقة.
وكلف مفوض الحكومة لدى المحكمة العسكرية القاضي صقر صقر الشرطة العسكرية اجراء التحقيقات الأولية في الحادث، كما كلف الطبيب الشرعي والادلة الجنائية الكشف على الجثث ووضع التقارير اللازمة نتيجة المعاينات.
