Such a Minister of Foreign Affairs is a total disgrace for the country. Not a single ounce of personality, a stooge and a puppet who represents nothing.
Yes, he'd better keep quiet, no need to bark further the caravan has already passed.

it is a "discussion" between jumblat and hizb, mansour is just a stamp, especially after the "incident" of burning the bus in choueifat.( the bus was going from dahie to baalbeck).

“If silence is the golden rule, then all sides are better off keeping quiet...We are seeking democracy and just as everyone has the right to express themselves freely, then I don’t think we need lessons on democracy from anyone.”

Nuance: There is a difference between freedom of opinion in an editorial (W.Jumblat), and expressing yourself in the name of a country (Minister A. Mansour) Consequences are different. Situations are uncomparable.

What do the current lebanese of the Sunni and Druze sect have in commen with their 1960-80s ancestors? Hatred. Why denounce foreign minister Monsour for that comment? I honestly believe that most people commenting on this site are not Lebanese. If they are then we will never be a nation and federation is needed... Lebanon has always been threatened by Syria, (who never until recently) reconized Lebanon as independent using the excuse of Lebanon being a stage for instability to syria. Same thing is happening now and the only "m14" party that has any sence is the kataeb. How long will the mustaqbul party put Lebanon first if their "allies" take over in Syria? All of a sudden it will be Lebanon the 16th Provence of Syria again!

Do not kid yourself Ado...The present Syrian regime (hopefully the last) never recognized Lebanon as an independant state, do not get fooled by the presence of Syrian Embassador and all this BS...No hatred here but mere experience from the atrocity of this evil regime during their occupation of Lebanon (There where you find hatred)
Adnan Mansour is not representing Lebanon when he opens his Gob...He represents his party and the Syrian proxies in Lebanon...At least half the Lebanese do not agree with his stupid statements

ado, you maybe right, but but we can't keep living in the 1960-80s, world has changed, and you need at least to try. wake up!

Aragon. Most of the "crap" we are in today is not the cause of Aoun or hezballah. It is the cause of people like you who proberly don't even know the words to the Lebanese national anthem. The same people that sided with the PLO against the Lebanese army and under the limited existence of the mirabitoun, sided with foreigners against the Lebanese nation. The cause of all the crap Lebanon has expirenced is because of people like you! You that side with foreigners against fellow lebanese and never believed in the republic until 7 years ago. You have already forgoten about "Lebanon first" by putting Syrian problems first.

Lebanon will only escape from the "crap", when Lebanese start building trust instead of looking for foreign help against our domestic issues.

"if golden rules is silence we all should keep quiet" what does that mean ? . you are a foreign minister ? are you sure you are a person !

@ ado, you cannot say that most people on this site are not Lebanese because they dont agree with you. I agree that we must keep away from the Syrians crisis but that doesnt mean Mansour has the right to go support Assad and give advices on how the Syrian opposition must go talk with him in order to have peace again, or even vote against Arab resolutions to protect Syria. You can abstain from voting yes, but voting against everybody in order to protect Syria is not taking sides? isnt it putting Syria First? youve got to open your eyes habibe, Mansour is not better than the people you dont like. And this governement is no better than its predecessors. Maybe the sunnis just woke up now and started asking for Lebanon first but where are the chiites? with pictures of Khamenei and ayatollah in the south, as well as accepting comments from Iranian Revolution guard chief that the south lebanon is an iranian model of thinking , is that lebanon first? Thanks

Ado. Ur lasy comment doesnt make sense..its actually full of shit
U say sunnis sided with plo..thats very true..let me remind u of one thing..as christians, we should back moderates in all camps..last i checked hizb were extremists and hariri not so much..anyways, if ure nit convinced, let me remind u something
Ya aouni ya kelb, on march 14 2005 when all of us came down, it was partly to spite and oppose the goons on march 8 whi thanked syria..that includes ur orange heads too..syria wasnt innocent then, not even by ur standards coz it still isnt if u ask me

Finally look at ur hezb allies and what they are doing, and remwmber we oly kicked the syrians out with international pressure, and when sunnis and druzes (not shiites) joined our fight..

Mansour, please pack your bags and get ready to move to Iran with Bashar and whomever survives his regime in Syria. Lebanon does not want you, or need you. Goodbye...
