البطريرك لحام من الفاتيكان: البابا بنديكتوس يزور لبنان من 14 الى 16 ايلول

أكد بطريرك انطاكية وسائر المشرق للروم الملكيين الكاثوليك غريغوريوس الثالث لحام الجمعة ان البابا بنديكتوس السادس عشر سيزور لبنان من 14 الى 16 ايلول حاملا رسالة سلام ووحدة الى مسيحيي الشرق.
وقال البطريرك لحام الذي استقبله الخميس الحبر الاعظم ان "البابا سيزورنا لتعزيز المسيحيين ليكونوا موحدين".
واضاف ان بنديكتوس السادس عشر سيكون ايضا "رسول سلام في الشرق الاوسط" المنطقة التي تشهد نزاعا عنيفا في سوريا بينما ما زال النزاع العربي الاسرائيلي بدون حل فيه.
واوضح لحام الذي اكد بذلك خطة جرى الحديث عنها في الماضي مرارا، انه سيكون اول مستقبلي البابا في 14 ايلول في كنيسة مار بولس في حريصا المطلة على مدينة جونية.
وسيلتقي الحبر الاعظم الشباب ورجال الدين وغيرهم. والى جانب لقاء مع السلطات السياسية، يفترض ان يجتمع برجال دين غير مسيحيين ويقوم بزيارات قصيرة لبعض الكنائس.
وسيحيي البابا في السادس عشر من ايلول قداسا يسلم فيه "الدعوة الرسولية" المنبثقة عن اعمال سينودس الاساقفة في تشرين الاول 2010 الذي خصص لوضع المسيحيين في الشرق الاوسط.
ويرئس بطريرك انطاكية والقدس والاسكندرية وسائر المشرق للروم الملكيين الكاثوليك غريغوريوس الثالث لحام الذي يقيم في دمشق، كنيسة ثاني اكبر مجموعة كاثوليكية في الشرق، تضم 1,3 مليون شخص في العالم بينهم 700 الف في الشرق وخصوصا في سوريا ولبنان والاردن وفلسطين.

I dont know whether to laugh or throw up at the hypocrisy of maronites. We hate each other yet talk about unity when its time for the pope to come. Why dont we unite for real instead of putting on a fake show for the arrival of the pope only. As long as we have hate in our hearts we will never unite. And i dont think this hate is going anywhere any time soon.

Yes its political hate, that is hate, a hate this is just as bad as religious hate, thousands of maronites were killed by other maronites bcuz of this hate. Not to mention those who were tortured, by fellow maronites! And the strong hate maronites hold for each other in their hearts, its almost as if LF and FPM are two diffirent people, it is the same as if it was a racist fight.
