تقارير: جنبلاط يهدد بالانسحاب من الحكومة إذا أقرت قانون النسبية

هدد رئيس "جبهة النضال الوطني" النائب وليد جنبلاط بسحب وزرائه من الحكومة في حال وافق مجلس الوزراء على قانون انتخاب جديد يقوم على النسبية.
وأفادت صحيفة "اللواء" في عددها الصادر صباح الأربعاء، أن جنبلاط أبلغ رئيس الحكومة نجيب ميقاتي عبر موفد خاص، أنه "في حال طرح موضوع النسبية في مجلس الوزراء وتبنته الحكومة، فإنه سيسحب وزراءه مباشرة منها، وليكن ما يكون".
ومن جهته، كشف وزير الداخلية والبلديات مروان شربل أنه أعاد طرح قانون الإنتخابات "بعد أن لاحظت أن الوقت بدأ يداهمنا لإنجاز التحضيرات اللوجستية، التقنية والأمنية الخاصة لضمان نجاح العملية الإنتخابية".
وأكد شربل في حديث لصحيفة "المستقبل" "ضرورة الإتفاق على قانون الإنتخاب قبل فترة زمنية تتراوح من ثمانية أشهر إلى سنة، بغض النظر عن القانون الذي سيتم التوافق عليه".
وإذ لم يستبعد العودة إلى قانون الستين "إذا تم التوافق عليه"، لفت إلى أنه يفضل إعتماد النسبية، مشدداً على ضرورة إجراء الانتخابات في موعدها المقرر عام 2013 "إلا إذا استجد سبب أمني".
أما رئيس مجلس النواب نبيه بري فرحب أمام زواره أمس الثلاثاء بموافقة رئيس "تكتل التغيير والاصلاح" النائب ميشال عون على النسبية مع اعتماد لبنان دائرة انتخابية واحدة، مشيرا إلى أن "هذا طموحي منذ بضع سنوات".
ورأى بري أن "أكثر افرقاء 14 آذار يريدون وياللأسف إبقاء قانون 1960 لأنه يوفر لهم مكتسبات انتخابية في أكثر من دائرة ويحصلون من خلالها على عدد لا بأس به من المقاعد الانتخابية. هم لا يريدون التغيير والنهوض بالبلد".
يشار إلى أن كل من رئيس الجمهورية ميشال سليمان ورئيس الحكومة أيد اقتراح وزير الداخلية والبلديات حول قانون انتخاب جديد يعتمد النسبية.
وعقد عصر السبت الفائت في قصر بعبدا اجتماع ضم رئيس الجمهورية ورئيس الوزراء ووزير الداخلية، لبحث ملف قانون الانتخاب.
وقد ناقش مجلس الوزراء قانون الانتخاب الذي يعتمد النسبية مرات عدة ووضع ملاحظات واقتراحات على المشروع، بعد استماعه إلى شروحات تفصيلية من الوزير شربل.

FT and geha and syrian and...the proportionality law is sectarian and one of its effects is to reduce the number of deputees ruled by Joumblat (which I approve of). However we should have a civil law not a sectarian law. We should have people who will elect the best deputee and not the deputee because of his religion even if that leads to 100% muslim or 100% christian parliament. People should learn and appreciate that they are lebanese. They should learn to love another lebanese because he is lebanese and not because of his religion. Once we get to that we will be able to change all of our stupid religious political system. We can start by voting those deputees out (they have all proved over 30+ years that they didn't do anything for the country). Wake up people!!!!!

OK you got a point,how about just those that arm the hezb at the exxpense of the state and all fellow citizens and the Hezb that is more loyal to Iran (as they should be since they receive so much from Iran).... so limit to those who do not put Lebanon first.

Proportionality is a good choice - it gives better representation.
However, increasing the size of the district above the Qaza level will diminish the ability of independent local candidates to run for election. Large size districts suits the entranched political parties with their large resources better.
Seems to me large political parties are looking for ways to preserve themselves. Hizbullah could also be afraid that some chiaa indendent candidates might run against them and diminish his representation in parliament.
