إعتداء على مراسلة "الجديد" غدي فرنسيس بالضرب خلال "تغطيتها انتخابات للحزب القومي"

تعرضت مراسلة تلفزيون "الجديد" غدي فرنسيس، لاعتداء بالضرب أثناء تغطيتها انتخابات الحزب السوري القومي الإجتماعي في ضهور الشوير.
وقد روت فرنسيس للوكالة الوطنية للاعلام تفاصيل ما حدث، بأنها بينما كانت خارج الفندق الذي تجري فيه الانتخابات، تقدم منها أحد محازبي "القومي" المدعو حسين هاشم وطلب منها المغادرة، فردت بأنها موجودة على الطريق العام، وعندها حاول إجبارها جسديا على المغادرة، وحين قاومته عمد إلى توجيه لكمة إلى خدها وركلها في أماكن متفرقة من جسدها.
وأضافت فرنسيس إن عددا من الموجودين في المكان حاولوا التدخل "ومنهم الزميل في جريدة "الأخبار" فراس الشوفي، فعمد المعتدي إلى لكم الشوفي في وجهه وأدماه".
وإثر الحادث، استنكر الحزب السوري القومي الاجتماعي، في بيان صادر له ما حصل وقال:" التعرض بالضرب لإعلامية تعمل في قناة تلفزيونية زاهرة وعريقة لا يمت بصلة إلى ثقافة القوميين الاجتماعيين، فالحريات، وخصوصا منها الإعلامية، هي شأن مقدس، وانطلاقا من هذا المقدس نتقدم بالاعتذار من قناة "الجديد" ومن رئيس مجلس إدارتها الأستاذ تحسين خياط ومن كل العاملين فيها".
كما نفى الحزب "نفيا قاطعا أن يكون الشخص الذي ذكر اسمه في الحادثة مرافقا لرئيس الحزب النائب أسعد حردان" ، مشيرا الى أنه "زميل للإعلامية فرنسيس ويعمل في جريدة البناء".
وختم البيان بالتأكيد على أنه "سيتابع هذا الموضوع أمام الجهات المختصة لتبيان كل الملابسات".
وتعليقا على الحادث، أصدرت جمعية "إعلاميون ضد العنف" بيانا استنكرت فيه الاعتداء على فرنسيس، ودعت السلطات المختصة "إلى التحرك العاجل من أجل تعقب الفاعل واتخاذ التدابير القضائية بحقه".
واعتبرت الجمعية "أن هذا الاستهداف المتمادي للصحافيين مرده للبيئة الحاضنة التي توفرها حكومة "حزب الله" في محاولة متواصلة لإسكات الأصوات الحرة وتدجين الأقلام الجريئة والتعتيم على الحقائق وتشويه الوقائع".

things happening here these days represent us lebanese? since when a woman is punched in the face and kicked several times? (and in public)

On another note, shouldn't the article say SSNP "apologized to al Jadeed" rather than apologized from al Jadeed", it sounds like a translation from Arabic... With all due respect to the Naharnet staff who do a great job in my opinion.
