الطبيب ابو حمد: ما حصل مع ريتا زغيب لم يكن خطأ طبياً

شدد الطبيب موسى أبو حمد على ان ما حصل مع ريتا جبرايل زغيب وولدها لم يكن خطأ طبياً انما نتيجة مضاعفات خطيرة.
وأكد في مؤتمر صحافي عقده في بيت الطبيب أنه لو حصل أي خطأ طبي لما كان هذا العدد من الاطباء قد التف حولي.
وأوضح أبو حمد أن "تقرير نقابة الاطباء بخصوص هذه القضية كان واضحاً وصريحاً ولم يكن هناك اي خطا طبي".
وتوجه بالتعازي من عائلة ريتا جبرايل زغيب، لافتا الى ان علاقته معها كانت علاقة ثقة كبيرة، مشدداً على أنه اهتم "كثيرا بريتا، وقام بكل الفحوصات اللازمة".
وتابع ابو حمد انه "كان يتواصل بشكل دائم مع المستشفى وطوال الوقت، ولم يحصل اي خلل بالاتصال مع الممرضات ولا اي اهمال"، مشيرا الى ان "مضاعفات حصلت ووفاة ريتا قضاء وقدر ونحن لدينا ثقة بالقضاء.
من جانبه أعلن نقيب الاطباء شرف أبو شرف، خلال المؤتمر نفسه انه تم توقيف الطبيب موسى أبو حمد واستجوابه على اسس مخالفة للقانون وحوكم من بعض وسائل الاعلام منذ اليوم الاول.
واشار الى ان النقابة تحاسب من يرتكب اخطاء طبية، "انما ببعض الحالات التي هي 75% يتبين انه لا يوجد اخطاء بل مضاعفات، والجمعيات العلمية هي الوحيدة التي تقرر اذا كان هناك خطأ طبي".
وشدد ابو شرف على أن "من يستطيع ان يقرر اذا كان هناك خطأ هي لجنة التحقيقات واللجنة الاستشارية في نقابة الاطباء ولا احد غيرها يستطيع اعطاء رأي علمي، وهناك اصول يجب ان تتبع علمياً".
وأردف، قائلاً ان "العدالة يجب ان تكون للجميع بنفس المستوى وليس لاننا تحت القانون بينما غيرنا فوق القانون وعفا الله عنه"، مشيرا الى "الكفالة بقضية الطبيب أبو حمد بلغت 50 مليون ليرة بينما البعض ملفاتهم سوداء وخرجوا بكفالة 500 الف".
وشكر ابو شرف القضاء اللبناني "الذي ساعدنا الى الوصول الى هنا حتى لو صدرت بعض الهفوات عنه ونحن قادرون ان نتابعها قانونيا"، مؤكدا "أننا مع القضاء لأن دونه لا وجود لبنان".
وقد تم توقيف الطبيب ابو حمد على خلفية وفاة السيدة ريتا جبرايل زغيب (التي كانت حاملا بشهرها السابع) وجنينها منذ اسابيع في مستشفى سيدة لبنان، واتهمه اهلها بالاهمال. وقد تمت تخلية سبيله الاربعاء بكفالة مالية قدرها 50 مليون ليرة.

This guy he is declaring himself innocent before the investigation. What a joke, His colleagues stood by him the fox in charge of the hen house. They should have an independent committee investigating this case. "if you can find one" because you can bribe any judge for $100 in Lebanon unfortunately. Yes, unless you're a doctor, chances are you have no idea how the course of her pregnancy went. and that pain during pregnancy can be attributed to irregular contractions called Braxton-higgs contraction which can occur up to 2 months before labor. and you probably do not know the pathophysiology of amniotic fluid emboli.
and chances are not you are not familiar with the juriprudence process of handling medical malpractice in Lebanon, so you can comment on its flaws.
you are probably also not familiar with the requirements that render a medical complication/consequence as malpractice
regardless of the original story, Dr. Abou Hamad's arrest was unconstitutional and this is a problem to be handled by the syndicate and the jurisprudence, not by the media and the public (although I completely believe that the public should be educated about medical malpractice, when to press charges, and the complications of medical procedures)

My deep condolences to the family of Rita and her baby, I am with punishing the doctor but at least after the investigation is complete and also not Jail. they can suspend his license and stop him from practicing but not straight to jail. Doctors do not intentionally kill people they are practicing there job to best of there knowledge if they are not good enough they can be suspended from working that in my opinion, worst then putting him in jail for few days or even more. Doctors are not criminals they go through years of House jail while studying to become doctors, to help other survive.

i love how the people that are supposed to monitor and investigate the dr's and their conduct is their fellow dr's at the syndicate. talk about conflict of interest.
and for them to claim that they are the "only side authorized" to investigate medical errors is BS.

So when you do all of this research, then you can start to criticize the process and discuss "sweeping things under the rug"
May Rita and her baby rest in peace. Their death is a tragedy. However, whether it was caused by a doctor's negligence or a complication of pregnancy is certainly not for us to determine

Im from Miami ,in July 2011 i developed Amniotic Fluid Embolism i expired at 11:41 they didnt know what they were up against my Dr.is 75 yrs old and seen A.F.E 40 years ago,Im thankful cause he remembered how to save an A.F.E patient .Im grateful cause most women and babies dont make it.The other Dr's didnt know cause they never heard of it.Most people, RN.. nurses etc never heard of it and need more knowledge that way they can save lives Dr.Samir Beydoun University of Miami i love u and shame of U.M board for not helping..
