اطلاق حملة اسبوعية لطرد السفير السوري من لبنان

نفذ عدد من اللبنانيين والنازحين السوريين اعتصاماً الجمعة في باحة الجامع المنصوري الكبير في طرابلس، أطلقوا من خلال "حملة اسبوعية لطرد السفير السوري علي عبدالكريم علي من لبنان.
وأعلن عدد من فعاليات المنطقة عن "اطلاق حملة اسبوعية لطرد السفير السوري احتجاجاً على المجازر التي تُرتكب في سوريا"، وفق ما نقلت صحيفة "الشرق الاوسط".
ودعا الشيخ أحمد الصيافني في كلمة علماء سوريا في الاعتصام، إلى "طرد السفير السوري المجرم من لبنان"، شاكرا أهالي طرابلس لوقوفهم إلى جانب الثورة السورية".
وطالب عضو حزب "التحرير" وليد درنيقة "وقف كل الاتفاقات الأمنية بين لبنان وسوريا، مناشداً "الأجهزة الأمنية عدم ملاحقة الثوار السوريين في لبنان".
وقال درنيقة للصحيفة أن "عدم تبني حزب التحرير رسميا للاعتصام ينطلق من مسعانا لتكون المطالب التي نطرحها شعبية لا حزبية وأن يكون أهل طرابلس من يحملون هذه المطالب بإطار سلمي يتطور تلقائياً".
من جانبه نفى المسؤول الإعلامي في حزب "التحرير" أحمد القصص، عبر الصحيفة عينها أن يكون الاعتصام الذي نفّذ بطرابلس تم بدعوة رسمية من الحزب، الا أنه أكد أن "الحزب يشجّع الاعتصام ويؤيد ما ورد خلاله إلا أن درنيقة تحدث فيه من منطلق شخصي لا حزبي".
واثر انتهاء صلاة الجمعة انطلقت مظاهرة حاشدة من مسجد حمزة في القبة، بدعوة من "هيئة علماء الصحوة الإسلامية"، وجابت شوارع المنطقة شوارع المنطقة وردد المتظاهرون خلالها هتافات تطالب "بإعدام الأسد، وتندد بالصمت العربي والدولي على المجازر التي ترتكب بحق الأطفال والنساء والشيوخ"، وفق "الشرق الاوسط".
ويقدر عدد اللاجئين السوريين في لبنان بحوالي 22 ألف وفق المفوضية العليا لشؤون اللاجئين، والذين قدموا الى لبنان اثر الحركة الاحتجاجية التي تشهدها سورية منذ آذار 2011 مطالبة بسقوط نظام الرئيس السوري بشار الاسد فضى على اثرها 15026 شخصاً.

That may be the viewpoint of maronites but that is not how the Muslims view neither the civil war nor the current events. Just like you showed solidarity with the iraqi keldanis (even though you treat them as dogs in lebanon) when they were being killed in iraq, we too have a right to show solidarity with our muslim brothers.

You have every right to show solidarity with your muslim brothers in Syria. And christian Lebanese also are feeling the pain of their muslim cousins in Syria.
But don't you see that we Lebanese, moslems and christians alike shed too much blood already? that we all love our country Lebanon? dont you feel that our first loyalty is to our nation? That we shouldnt jeapordize our country for anything? even for people of our sect in other countries? I would never jeapordize Lebanon's civil peace for a keldani or a copt. Would you do it for sunnite syrians? If you would, my friend, how do you propose that we build a country together?
If you had to choose, would you be in a country with christian Lebanese, with druze lebanese, and chiite lebanese, with all the diversity and richness of Lebanon? or would you prefer being in a "sunnite" country, (a newly created country between sunnite regions of syria and Lebanon?)- Either is valid. Where is your loyalty?

I will pray for the Syrian Muslims suffering, but that is it. It is irresponsible to re ignite a civil war in Lebanon. because that will just cause more death and destruction.

I just hope for his own sake he has his compatriots's knack for manual labor. I can see him now standing under the bridge in Dawra, with a raw onion his lunch, trying to hitch a ride to a day long construction site somewhere, you know he's not as young as he used to be.. come to think of it no one ever is, expect maybe L Shahroora Sabah.

Hey guys
Since the birth of Lebanon, his decision was not independent in any one historical moment, this fact all we know, Syria bashar or Syria Revolutionists will be the same. Syria interferes with the internal affairs of Lebanon today and tomorrow as well, and the situation in Syria, whether we like it or not, will impact on Lebanese politics, so let us be positive and take a moral position at least towards the tragedies. This position humanitarian situation, regardless of religious feelings among Muslims. May be we are today with the rebels against Bashar morally will affect the future relationship Syria and Lebanon.

the road to Syrian prosperity is through Lebanon. The shortest route from Damascus to the Mediterranean is through Lebanon. Syria will always meddle and will always claim Lebanon as part of Syria.
