Hezbollah hailed Morsi's election because he wants to reestablish the ties with the Islamic republic of Iran that were cut 30 years ago. that's what the salafist declared earlier today. I beleive that the Christians and moderate Sunnis exodus will be on the rise in the middle east. After Lebanon and Iraq, Egypt is next. However, there are signs of opening in KSA, I think the Kingdom is capable of surprising us in a pleasant way. Oolo ya rab!

You should watch your lowlife language. I heard what Morsi said, obviously not on naharnet. Open your mind and stop marrying your cousins... Look at the result. Nothing I'd be proud of if I were you.

I think everyone should be cebtering his attention on the situation in his country and not speak big words on the Arab world. The Arab world consists of numerous countries each of which has a ruler and governments to take care of their citizens. No one has the right in interfer into the affairs of other Arab state(s). nassrallah should concentrate on Lebanon where he lives by trying to do what's right to improve the lives of the Lebanese. Hence these big words of saluting the Egypian president and asking him to chaneg the Arab word is really nothing more than words that have no meaning. It's time for everyone no matter of his rank to start working within his borders. This is how the civilized world operates.

Those with parochial views and narrow-minded vision think that Hezb is getting weaker, where actually is stronger than ever, USA lost Iraq, now lost Egypt and will never win in Syria the way they wanted it anyway...

As for those who commented about majority, I am not sure if it is lack of education or simply extreme naivety...don't you think that Hezb don't need majority in the parliament, a simple public referendum will put either Aoun or Hezb as head of state (this is not fiction, it is a fact, based on simple statistics)...we don't want this, all we want is, to weaken Israel, their hegemony, and set new rules, new balance, and focus our energy to create a fair and just state.

Really I feel pity when I hear Arabs supporting nothing but uprising in Syria, and as I write, there are bulldozers destroying Palestinian people houses, to build illegal settlements denounced by the entire community...

Leyk ya jabbour... you want to free Palestine... be my guest! As for your facts & stats...:) well, there are elections next year and we will see...:)
Lebanon is sadly the only country where you still find people like yourself ready to pay the highest price for the Palestinian... we gave up 17 years of war, 150,000 dead, billions of $ and massive destruction...I think that's enough!
We want to live in peace, work, and raise our children in a safe and prosperous country! No more weapons, no more wars for Lebanon!

Hey buddy, Democracy is the rule of the majority taking consideration the requests of the minority. If you think you can step all over the minority or opposition because you are in power, then the you get toppled.

This goes to any ruling party, whether in Lebanon (as in m8, m14, m<insert the number of your choice here>), or abroad.
