They are not digging a tunnel. The roundabout which will be built above the highway will form a "tunnel" under it.

Problem Solved? I think Not. I give it another year or so. Protests should be held weekly to keep the ball rolling.

I think this bridge will be feady by 2100 and the structure will be ready to collapse 2101 , so they will dismentale the bridge again mis 2100 whahahah good luck lebanese.....good i do not live there anymore.....khod 3a 3ajka ....

Where are the days where we used to inaugurate a new highway every 2 months? Metn is the most underserved caza in lebanon relative to its population. Jal el dib is a good start. But they should continue. They should open the beit misk-Aatchaneh road to the public to partially disengorge antelias. Right now, only pass holders can go through.
Why arent they opening it? political reasons? someone getting paid?

Now it seems any muwaten can get what he wants by cutting a road in the streets, with his relatives . this they say is the democracy , and it is only for people who knows how to deal with cutting roads. But those like the old buildings owners does not know how to deal in returning back their stolen properties by the governmets will stay as they are if they do not cut roads ,as justice is far away from their minds and thinking.

maybe this time they will finish on time, no shiite squatters in the way to delay.

It's so refreshing to see the govt responding to the peoples needs, am so sick of politics being so personal in Lebanon - this is how it should be. Why is there such a cult of personality where if the government performs badly, people take it as an attack against their sect/party.
