The political/judiciary system in Lebanon is screwed up, the concept of governance in Lebanon is dysfunctional, and the set of double standards in prosecuting collaborators is not a total joke!

And, of course, they're all Christian, because no one would dare to issue arrest warrants against Muslims in Lebanon.

Syria has killed lebanese more than israel did
Syria has occupied more lebanese territory an for more time than Israel
Syria has kidnaped more lebanse than Israel... and at least with Israel u know in which prison they are
Syria has controled the lebanese goverment more than Israel
Syria has more collaborators in Lebanon than Israel
Syria is trying to destabilize Lebanon through agents like Samaha... yes u r nor gonna defend him but u deliberately ignore that he's following Syria's orders

So why the heck we are in war with Israel and not with Syria ?

@FT Israel is our ennemy. But Syria is MUCH worse to us. I hear u on the parasite issue. True, Israel is strong, it is trying to steal some water and oil and lobby the american congress to prevent arms sales to lebanon etc... But Besides that, it wants to build A WALL with us. It cares about tel aviv stock exchange, about growth rates, It DOES NOT GIVE A DAMN ABOUT US. We are low on Israel"to do" list.

Syria, on other hand have as an explicit and systematic objective to kill any strong Lebanese leader. And to destroy any independance we might have. We are high up on their "to do" list.

The neo stalinist regime of Assad SYSTEMATICALLY killed every single Lebanon loving strong balled leader in Lebanon for the past 30 years! Once they finished with killing big balled leaders, they started eliminating medium balled lebanese leaders!!! The second tier, the next generation is also on their list!! Can you imagine?
They will only tolerate to have their allies to rule in Lebanon's "stupid democracy" (as they call our system). Anybody else- Kill-Kill-Kill. How can we ever build a country without leaders? Syria is hijacking our country.

Why are we arresting people who want to become Israeli's? At least they will have better living conditions than the Lebanese living in Lebanon. Why are we always looking at putting down Israel. At least their government takes care of them. At least they are not a failed state like Lebanon

As someone who lived and suffered from Syrian occupation and had friends and family killed won't feel happy until the Syrian collaborators are put in JAIL

I know a guy named William Haddad (living in London, owner of a bakery), Lebanese married to a Christian Palestinian who goes to Israel every year as He bought a house in Tel Aviv... and comes to Lebanon every year too. They stamp his passport on a sheet they take back when he leaves the country.

This country is such a joke.

syria came on invitation of lebanese and left when Lebanese protested on the street ? well that's the cover. The true story is that Syria came to Lebanon due international agreement and qith collaboration with Israel, ane left due to international pressure.

bottom line : As long as some lebanese dont aknowledge what Syria did coz they harmed the "other" lebanese and not their side, and the other lebanse dont aknowledge what Israel did coz they harmed the "other" lebanese and not their side... we'll be always divided and ready to go for a civil war again

Just don't agree that Syria got into Lebanon because lebanese invited her, this is a mascarade, this is "ikhraj" of the long american film. They got here coz the US wanted so with of course the agreement of Israel.
