قباني في خطبة الاضحى: لن نسمح باسقاط الحكومة في الشارع ولا المس بمقام رئاسة الحكومة

شدد مفتي الجمهورية الشيخ محمد رشيد قباني على ان لا يمكن السماح بسقوط الحكومة في الشارع ولا المس برئاسة الحكومة بالعنف، معتبراً ان من "يحرك الغرائز باسم الطوائف ليحكم بالسياسة هو احمق".
واكد في خطبة عيد الاضحى، في مسجد محمد الامين في وسط بيروت، حيث كان يؤم المصلين صباح اليوم الجمعة، "اننا في لبنان وطن الثوابت والاعراف بلد الديمقراطية السليمة ودولة الدستور والمؤسسات لا يمكن ان نسمح ابدا باسقاط حكومة بالشارع فإننا لم نسمح بها منذ سنوات ولن نسمح بهذا مطلقا".
ونبّه الى ان "رئاسة الحكومة رمز معنوي لنا ولجميع اللبنانيين ولن نسمح ابدا بالمس بمقام رئاسة الحكومة بالعنف او تحت ضغط الشارع".
واشار قباني في خطبته الى ان "الدستور الذي ارتضيناه اساساً لوطننا نص على ان اعطاء الثقة للحكومات او حجبها لا يكون الا من خلال المجلس النيابي"، محذرا من انه "اذا تخلينا عن دستورنا نكون قد نسفنا الجمهورية من اساسها ونسفنا ايضا الوطن".
واعتبر ان "من يحرك الغرائز باسم الطوائف ليحكم بالسياسة هو احمق وبالتحريض ينتحر وقد آن الاوان لتفرضوا ايها اللبنانيون على سياسييكم قواعد العمل وان تلفظوا جرثومة الطائفية كي لا يبقى مستقبل ابناءكم في هذا الوطن املا بعيدا مرتجى".
ولفت قباني الى ان "رجالات الوطن المخلصون الصادقون هم ضمانة بقائه واساس قيامه".
وعن اغتيال رئيس فرع المعلومات في قوى الامن الداخلي اللواء وسام الحسن، اعتبر قباني في خطبته انه "حلقة في سلسلة احكام المؤامرة المتربصة بنا في لبنان والتي لن تتراجع حتى تنال من سلامة ووحدة وطننا او حتى نقضي عليها بأن نكون شعبا واحدا وموحدا فلا تتسلل الفتن بينا لنكون يدا واحدة".
واغتيل اللواء الحسن الجمعة الفائت في انفجار سيارة مفخخة في الاشرفية، ما ادى الى مقتل اثنين آخرين وجرح اكثر من 100 شخص اضافة الى الاضرار المادية الجسيمة التي لحقت بالمنطقة. وادى الانفجار الى توسيع الهوة بين قوى 8 و14 آذار، وتتمسك المعارضة برحيل الحكومة من اجل معاودة الحوار والمشاركة في الاعمال الحكومية والبرلمانية.
واثر تشييع الحسن، يوم الاحد الفائت، حاول مشيعون اقتحام السراي الحكومي في وسط بيروت، الا ان قادة المعارضة اثنوهم عن ذلك، مشددين على الحراك السلمي، واقدم عدد من الشبان في قوى 14 آذار على تنفيذ اعتصاما مفتوحا امام السراي الحكومي، وقد نصبوا الخيم من اجل هذه الغاية. وفي طربلس ايضاً، نصب عدد من الشبان خيماً امام منزل رئيس الحكومة نجيب ميقاتي، للمطالبة باستقالته.

government institutions should represent all Lebanese and not a particular secte.
same goes for the presidency and the parliament.

Must be the old age that is talking. This government was elected by the gun and it should go out also in uncivilized way. This government is murdering its own leadership on orders by Iran and Syria.

100% agree to not topple government on streets especially in a country like Lebanon. But it is not neither the good solution to shut-up and await the next bombing on a M14 figure, which will be interpreted as a new "test" or "trap" or "sectarian strife" by M8 followers. These are politically motivated murders aimed to eliminate the party either we like it or not. Why just M14 figures are used for this "test" or to ignite civil war? killing from both camps does not? What is the answer of M8 for these precise questions?

March 14, what the heck is going on with Qabbani? First, it was al-Rahi. and now this? Just pray that the Pope does not make Qabbani a cardinal! OMG what would happen to March 14 should we end up with 3 cardinals? Actually, Sfeir cancels out Al-Rahi, but with Qabbani a cardinal, the scale would tip against the lovers of freedom and democracy and the lovers of life!!! Wouldn't you agree? religion was made to control the masses and rule over them. it s only a means to get power at the expense of people and frighten them...
look lebanon towards religion just like in the middle ages europe....

Is it your God that keep you from pretending you're god him (or her) self? Might I suggest you get your brain checked. Take a trip to north Europe and see how harmoniously people live there without religion.

religion should be abolished in lebanese politics--the first step would be to allow civil marriage and remove the stranglehold that these religious figures try to put on society.
and yes, I realize that religion and politics can't be one without the other, but if it doesn't, it will put Lebanon into the dark ages like it did to Europe.
