"There are parties that seek to inflict strife in Lebanon and trigger conflict among Muslims."
Is he talking about his party?
Funny how he talks about others as if his party is exempt of any wrongdoing.
"assured that the cabinet will not collapse? Has he heard of democracy where governments come and go all the time.
Unless each word is worth 1000 deeds then you are somewhat right. Unfortunately actions speak louder than words and they expose the man for who he is.
First- do not attack me as a person. Keep the discussion focused on the topic & players. Let's be civilized here, if we can.
I don't believe a word of what he says, and pity those that are being led by him. He knows that conflict between Muslims weaken him, so he is pandering to that. As Helicopter said, what Hezb does and what Hezb says are 2 very different things. We are not fooled.
Bro, most sunis were with HA in the 90's, HA changed since 2000. The assasination of hariri, 3eed, 7assan, 7 ayar, and then helping bashar in his genocide against the suni syrians. These are the reasons. I know you dont believe this snd you believe the manar propaganda against all logic and common sense. I hope we dont go to civil war for you to change ur mind. Aoun was threatning wesam 7assan with death openly..think of that, we'am wahab threatned wesam 3eed openly...you have to question ur leadership, is it really in she3a interest or religion to make enemies with 18 million suni syrians? These are the very people who took u in durin 2006.
He may SPEAK of it, but his actions, or rather lack of constructive actions, say something else. Why don't you bring up ONE thing he has done to end strife, not SAID, actually done?
“our project is a unified single state. We are no alternative to the state and we will never be. Our interest has always been in the rise of a strong state capable to assume its duties and responsibilities towards the Lebanese.”
Then why are you dragging your feet? Hand your weapons to the state so we can be done with this charade and make the army stronger to defend Lebanon. Liberating Palestine, though a lofty undertaking, is not our job. Our job is to make Lebanon shine among the civilized nations of the world.
Stop posturing please and do the right thing stayed Hassan.
Most sides are pointing their fingers at HA for the reason for the strife--maybe he should think about what he can do (aside from threatening with force) to mend fences. Right now, his speechwriters are with him in his cave and just as out of touch as he is.
Last time I checked, I saw half a million palestinians living in my country. Last time I checked I also wasn't able to go the the Shebaa farms. Last time I checked Hezbillah leader was a pariah.
thanks Hezbollah and especially his leader for maintaining the stability in Lebanon.
He also assured in 2005 that the syrian army would not leave lebanon, he assured that he willwin the 2009 elections, he also assured his herd that the regime in syria will not fall, of course not to mention 'law kuntu a3lam'. Someone who lives in a bunker lives in denial. Who would believe hat such a pathetic government would live one day after bashar is gone? Only idiots
They do not believe it. They do understand that the weapons are used to further their control over lebanon. Wth the collapse of the syrian regime looming they need to realize that their suni rivals would also get armed and that old rules do not apply anymore. Given all the assasinations and the grudges therein, Im pessimistic, i think we r heading to a civil war
This long time criminal should be cut to size when time comes and it sure as heck is coming. The lying Iranian rat has been instructing his zombie followers in private to undermine the Lebanese state at every turn even shooting at army officers and dragging the army and the whole country into uneven conflicts where only innocent civilians pay the ultimate price. This sinister clown must at last see the writing on the wall, which spells his and his criminal gang's doom, as he tries another round of lies and misinformation aimed at the free Lebanese, and to rally his zombies in the defense of his poltical masters in Tehran's long standing criminal enterprise the so called "resistance".
Spot on Lebanon_first, he is paving the ground for peace talks that will include the solution for HA's arms. What HA doesn't realize is the fact that once his weapons are gone, he will have to stand trial for all the killings that HA has clearly been implicated with. HA's past actions and hostilities towards the Lebanese State and its people have placed themselves in a predicament.
