أكد وزير الداخلية مروان شربل أن " ما يجري في طرابلس يتخطى مقدرة الحكومة"، مردفاً أن " السلاح موجود اينما كان في لبنان، وهناك تجارا قاموا ببيع السلاح فضلاً عن ان غالبية الاحزاب في لبنان مسلحة، وما نراه هو خلافات سياسية"، ومضيفاً أن "الغطاء السياسي لن يرفع عن المسلحين في الشمال".
واشار شربل في حديث لإذاعة "صوت لبنان" (93.3) الجمعة، الى أن الوضع في طرابلس لا يزال مضبوطاً الا ان ما حصل ليس مقبولا"، مشدداً على أنه " يجب ان يتم التوصل الى وفاق سياسي حول الموضوع الامني في البلد".
ولفت الى أن "السلاح موجود اينما كان في لبنان، وهناك تجارا قاموا ببيع السلاح فضلاً عن ان غالبية الاحزاب في لبنان مسلحة، وما نراه هو خلافات سياسية"، مردفاً أن "الغطاء السياسي لن يرفع عن المسلحين في الشمال".
وأكد شربل أن "ما يجري في طرابلس يتخطى مقدرة الحكومة"، مضيفاً أن " المشكلة هي ان الخلاف يتطور من سياسي الى طائفي فمذهبي".
واندلعت الإشتباكات ليل الخميس-الجمعة بين باب التبانة وجبل محسن في طرابلس، حيث "أطلقت قذائف ال ب 7 على نطاق واسع"، بحسب الوكالة الوطنية للإعلام.
وأردفت الوكالة أنه "قد اتسعت رقعة النيران لتطاول مناطق بعيدة نسبيا عن محاور القتال في الزاهرية وشارع عزمي، الذي سقطت فيه رصاصات طائشة، فيما يسمع دوي القذائف الصاروخية في المناطق البعيدة عن مناطق الاشتباكات. ويرد الجيش على مصادر النيران".
وفي السياق نفسه، أشارت صحيفة "النهار" في عددها الصادر الجمعة، أنه "فيما كان مجلس الوزراء منعقداً في جلسته الطويلة، اقتربت طرابلس من محظور انفجار جولة قتال جديدة وعنيفة اذ شهدت في ساعات المساء تدهوراً أمنياً واسعاً بين بعل محسن وباب التبانة ذهب ضحيته ثلاثة قتلى ونحو 17 جريحاً".
وأردفت "النهار" أن "التوتر تصاعد عقب مشادة كلامية حادة بين رئيس المجلس الاسلامي العلوي الشيخ أسد العاصي واحد قادة السلفيين الشيخ نبيل رحيم"، لافتة الانتباه الى أنه "في ساعات المساء بدأ الوضع يسوء مع تجدد اعمال القنص بين جبل محسن وباب التبانة وسقط أربعة جرحى نقلوا الى مستشفى طرابلس الحكومي وتجمع أهالي الجرحى امام المستشفى وسط توتر شديد اضطر معه الجيش الى تطويق المستشفى. ثم اشتد التوتر وبدأ التراشق بالاسلحة الرشاشة وقذائف "الاينرغا" والهواوين وعمد الجيش الى قطع طريق طرابلس – عكار بسبب القنص وخصوصاً على محاور مشروع الحريري – البقار – ساحة القبة، كما عمدت وحدات الجيش الى الرد على مصادر النار بالاسلحة المتوسطة".
بدورها لفتت السفير الى" عنف ليلاً في طرابلس، تخللته اشتباكات عنيفة على مختلف المحاور بين التبانة وجبل محسن استخدمت فيها الاسلحة الرشاشة والمدفعية وأدت الى سقوط قتيلين عرف منهما يحيى ثلجي في طرابلس واصابة 17 مواطناً بجروح".
وأصدرت قيادة الجيش قبيل منتصف الليل بياناً حذّرت فيه "العناصر المسلحة كافة من التمادي في الاخلال بالأمن والاعتداء على أرواح المواطنين وممتلكاتهم"، واكدت انها "ستتعامل بكل حزم وقوة مع مصادر اطلاق النار من أي جهة كانت"، ودعت المواطنين الى "التعاون التام مع الاجراءات الامنية التي ستتخذها وحدات الجيش للحفاظ على امنهم وسلامتهم".
وكان قد قتل شخص من جبل محسن مساء الأربعاء بعد توتر شهدته المدينة إثر إطلاق نار على شابين من الجبل ينتميان للمؤسسة العسكرية حصل بعد الظهر في المستشفى الحكومي في القبة.
وكان قد حصل توتر بين باب التبانة وجبل محسن على خلفية إشكال فردي في سوق الخضار ليل السبت وسمع صوت اطلاق نار في جبل محسن.
كذلك صعدت الأطراف السياسية في طرابلس مواقفها في الأيام الأخيرة إذ قال مسؤول العلاقات السياسية في الحزب "العربي الديمقراطي" رفعت عيد أن "الامور لم تعد تطاق في طرابلس بحيث ان القتل اصبح على الهوية ولم يعد هناك امن وامان" مهددا أن هناك شماعة "إضافية" غير جبل محسن ستظهر في المدينة.

No one disagree disarming salafist and el Qaeda. The problem is that HA does not agree disarming the Alaouite and the Tawhid militias. And the army cannot disarm one side without disarming the other side.

There is no point disarming the militias when they can re-arm at will. Charbel must go after the arms traders: first to dry up supplies and second to make sure disarmament works. Stop the weapons at the source.
Charbel must detain and arrest arms traders to stop this proliferation. The army can not keep up with the arms traders. The army and the people of Tripoli can only continue to have wounded and deaths without stopping the traders.

If HA is indeed supplying weapons they should stand down. Instability in Lebanon only harms their message of resistance against Zionism.
The problem is HA allies are far out numbered and out gunned in Tripoli. As I said before the supply of weapons must dry up and then disarmament stands a chance ...
Having said that HA deserves special status as a front against Israel. Only when other Lebanese parties can be trusted should tey have to merge with the army. I see Zionist posts here all the time.

Disarm Jabal Mohsen? I don't ever recall the Alawites of Jabal Mohsen attacking Bab Tebaneh every time something happens in another country to the terrorist that the Bab Tebaneh supports. Every time something happens in Syria Bab Tebaneh threaten and attack Jabal Mohsen. Alawites have the very basic right of defense of self and family. Disarm the side that is openly being supported by Al Qaeda.
