Do you expect and/or want a mall security guard to to carry out the duties of a police officer or a trained soldier without the benefit of the training, support and military equipment of the soldier? No. Suleiman is a figurehead, and, you are correct, in the current situation he is not capable of more. So, giving the allusion that your care re. the Palestinian and/or their cause is the P.C. thing to do in the Middle East, specially if Israel is associated with it. But do you realize all that does not matter if the culprits are their fellow Arab brothers? I don't give a "f..." or care one way or another re. Israeli and/or their agenda. All that Lebanese should care about is that the Palestinians with their weapons are routed out of Lebanon, and H.A. and Iran can follow them wherever they go to help fight for their cause.

But would the Palestinians have afforded cancer care to an Israeli prisoner? Did the Palestinians care about the young boys they abducted during the sol called "civil war" in the 1970s? Or this they use their bodies for blood supply for injured Palestinian soldiers?

Vincent, why should they offer cancer care for an israeli prisoner when they arent occupying the "israelis"? They havent stolen their lands, nor destroyed their homes nor destroyed their lifes. The one prisoner they had was treated well according to his own account and this despite that he was a terrorist part of the so called IDF. Whereas the palestinian prisoners are political prisoners, among them even children who are tortured inside israeli jails. Comparing the two scenarios is fruitless since the occupied has no obligation towards the occupying thief.

Another thing vincent is which palestinians are you talking about? If your talking about the PLO thugs then you might as well ask the same about our own thugs. Each and every lebanese militia kidnapped people, robbed, murdered etc during the civil war. I will not be blamed for that just because i happen to be lebanese therefor i will not blame palestinians for the actions of the PLO which as you might have forgotten also had many lebanese comitting thuggery when they were part of it, add to that the thugs of the rest of the militias and you will realize that nobody comitted as much thuggery in lebanon as we lebanese ourselves did, not even close. So lets move on instead of living in the dark past. A child being tortured or a political prisoner denied treatment is a tragedy and it has nothing to do with our civil war or arafat, gemayel, geagea, jumblatt, berri or any other of the militia leaders that caused much harm to lebanese and palestinian civilians.

We should not only ask the president but all our politicians this. Why isen't anyone of them asking about our prisoners in syria?
