قتل رجل لبناني في نيجيريا إثر عملية سرقة في حين كان يخطط للعودة النهائية إلى لبنان.
وفي التفاصيل أفادت قناة الـ"LBCI" مساء السبت أنه "عثر على اللبناني عادل جميل بجاني 29 عاما مقتولا في منزله اثر عمليه سرقة، وهو يعمل في مجال ادارة الفنادق في نيجيريا منذ أقل من عام".
وكشفت القناة أنه "كان من المفترض أن يعود بجاني من نيجيريا الى وطنه الام لبنان ليستقر فيه بشكل نهائي في الخامس من الشهر المقبل".
ولاحقا أكد وزير الخارجية والمغتربين في حكومة تصريف الأعمال عدنان منصور، لـ"الوكالة الوطنية للاعلام" مقتل بجاني نتيجة اعتداء تعرض له على يد مجهولين في نيجيريا.
وقال منصور: "أجرينا، بناء على توجيهات فخامة رئيس الجمهورية العماد ميشال سليمان، اتصالات مع سفارتنا في أبوجا فأفادتنا بأن جثمان الضحية سينقل إلى لبنان يوم الإثنين المقبل. وكلفنا السفارة الاتصال بالسلطات القضائية النيجيرية لمتابعة القضية وملاحقة المجرمين".
ودائما ما تتكرر هكذا حوادث مع لبنانيين وغير لبنانيين في هذا البلد الذي تخرج بعض المناطق فيه عن الأمن الذاتي للدولة.
ففي 17 شباط الفائت أقدم متشددون إسلاميون على خطف مجموعة من الاجانب العاملين في شركة "ستراكو" اللبنانية في (غامو) شمال نيجيريا، بينهم اللبنانيان عماد العنداري وكارلوس ابو عزيز.
وفيما قال الخاطفون أن الجميع قتلوا تؤكد مصادر رسمية في لبنان ان عنداري وأبو عزيز هما على قيد الحياة.

We all feel bad for this poor young man killed in Nigeria. We feel for our Lebanese brother. Yet every time the smallest political discrepancy takes place. We immediately take sides and show nothing but hate towards one another. Because sadly most of us are more loyal to our hizb or religion.

I am a Nigerian and I know all the comments being passed by Lebanese citizens are untrue. The death of Mr. Adel is quite unfortunate but I know a generation of Lebanese who have been living in Nigeria since more than 150 years without any problem. I know of the noble Makkarin family; Tahir Fadllallah; Chagoury brothers; the Akkads; and thousands of them. But one striking characteristics of most Lebanese residing in Nigeria is that they are generally criminals, economic saboteurs, slave drivers, mindless profiteers and drug pushers. They have all the opportunity in Nigeria but they continually abuse it.

Crimes happen everywhere in the World and Nigeria is no exception, however, to simply focus on the low-level crime rate of Nigeria just to justify your inherent hatred of that country is trully sad. Yet you live there by choice to make money. For the record, the highest gun crime capital in Africa is not Nigeria. Gun crime rate in the US is far higher than in Nigeria.
