"We will rise up and take to the streets..." This is what Aoun's remedy is for bombings in Dahieyi, the troubles in Sidon, Arsal and Tripoli. Aoun's "remedy" is like Aoun. Neither Aoun nor his "rising up and taking to the streets" is the solution. Both Aoun and his "solution" are the problem.
Aoun and every other politician who has paralyzed the government for the sake of advancement of their own faction, partisan or confessional interest. Yes we know that there are takfiuris but the majority of the Sunni are not takfiri but moderate. This bombing is condemnable as much as the intervention of hizbullah in Syria. This bombing could be from islamists but could just as well from moderate FSA targetting hizbullah areas.

Mr. Aoun, by making sure the army is disciplined is the way to guarantee the well being of the army. I do not want my army to behave the same way as the Syrian army (but I am sure you do Mr. Aoun). The LAF are highly respected not because they are fierce fighters, but because they do not commit abuses like other armies of the Middle East.

When your instinct tell you to distribute baklawa, your logical mind should tell you otherwise. Count to 10 before you speak, count to 1000 before you commit a stupid act.
