I think we've come to a time where we need to make a final decision on HA weapons. It's been a long time since 1990. It just doesn't make sense anymore that we have a Shia army, totally independent of the state.

Why is that such a foreign concept that many can't understand and brush aside as if someone is being ridiculous and claiming the illogical? Why is it so difficult to understand that the Lebanese want to be in control of their own country? They want to be able to declare war and peace them selves through their elected leader not some foreign party or special interest group? The Lebanese people want to stay away from regional interests and be open to the world?

You maybe OK with your Hizbullah a non-elected leader to control your life, your livelihood, your future, your entire existence but the rest of the country don't share this devotion you have, the rest of the country isn't ready to call Nasrallah Emperor or Ayatollah over them. They don't want him to get Lebanon thrown in blacklists, being treated like scum whenever they go to a foreign country, and have a country with an infrastructure worst than the worst countries in Africa.
