Driver Arrested for Smuggling Drugs in Minivan Engine
إقرأ هذا الخبر بالعربيةThe anti-drug unit of judicial police has arrested a Lebanese man for smuggling around half a kilogram of drugs in his minivan in the eastern city of Zahle, the Internal Security Forces announced Monday.
A communique issued by the ISF General Command said the unit monitored the passenger van after receiving information that he was smuggling drugs from the Bekaa town al-Hamoudiyeh to Beirut.
It stopped the vehicle's 28-year-old driver, who was identified with his initials as H.H., at the so-called Zahle bridge, the communique said.
The officers found 437 grams of drugs stashed in small nylon bags and hidden in the engine's air filter, it said.
The bags contained 210 grams of heroin and cocaine and 227 grams of hashish, ISF added.
when we point out takfiri crimes and terrorist attacks, you start crying saying we're "persecuting the sunnis", which is not true on so many levels.
but when a petty criminal gets arrested, even though you dont know his sect, you start your favorite sport: shia-smearing. i actually feel sorry for you, these cheap acts are all you're worth.
I still don't understand why the state doesn't divulge the full names of the culprits it nets. By only providing letters all that the state will do is to create and fuel more speculation.
Flamethrower my dearest: What has "Shiaa" got to do with this article? Why do you always steer the debates towards sectarianism? Please, don't force me to vote you down.
