Hajjar: STL is a Main Concern for France

Mustaqbal MP Mohammad al-Hajjar stated on Wednesday that the Special Tribunal for Lebanon is a main concern for France, which is committed to Lebanon through rejecting any Israeli threat against it.

He stressed: "This support affirms that France will not take part in any settlement at the expense of Lebanon's stability and pursuit for justice."

Furthermore, the MP said that Prime Minister Saad Hariri's talks with French President Nicola Sarkozy were "very fruitful" during which France reiterated its full support to the STL and U.N. resolution 1701.

Addressing Hizbullah's attack against the STL and the telecommunications sector, Hajjar asked: "If Hizbullah really has information on Israel's infiltration of the telecommunications sector, then why doesn't it submit it to the international tribunal?"
