Newly-Appointed Iranian Ambassador Arrives in Beirut, Meets Bassil

Newly-appointed Iranian Ambassador to Lebanon Mohammed Fathali held talks on Wednesday with Foreign Minister Jebran Bassil at the Bustros Palace soon after he landed in Beirut.
Fathali presented to Bassil his credentials, who will in turn hand them over to the President.
“At the beginning of my tenure in Lebanon I carry with me a strong and good message from Iranian officials,” the diplomat said.
Fathali arrived in Lebanon on Wednesday morning.
He considered that Lebanon has a “significant role in the region.”
The ambassador expressed hope that the Lebanese-Iranian ties would witness further development.
Fathali thanked former ambassador Ghazanfar Roknabadi for exerting serious efforts during his term to fortify the Lebanese-Iranian relations.

The only way for Israel to make peace is to solve the palestinian problem and take back the 500,000 or so palestinians in Lebanon it kicked out of their homes !
