It said that security forces discovered the drugs as a Lebanese national sought to deliver the shoes and other objects to an inmate.
The drugs included 1.7 grams of cocaine, 1.5 grams of heroin, 8.5 grams of cannabis, 65 benzhexol pills, and 60 captagon pills.
Investigations are underway in the incident.
Last week, security forces discovered benzhexol pills hidden inside a yogurt carton and a cell phone placed inside a cooking pot at al-Qobbeh prison.
The discoveries were made during the inspection of the prison's cells by guards, the Internal Security Forces said.
